Seems like the lowest price I've ever seen for one of the most reviewed baby cribs.
Deal runs through till Monday August 26th.

Amazon comparison [amazon.com]

Crib+Attached 3-drawer Changer (Espresso), go to this page - $299.99
http://www.hayneedle.com/sale/kal...presso.cfm

Crib+Attached 3-drawer Changer (Cherry), go to this page - $299.99
http://www.hayneedle.com/sale/kal...cherry.cfm

*Keep in mind that the attached 3-drawer Changer is priced differently that full sized 3-drawer Changer.

Seems like a good price... I own this crib and it has done really well for us. Son is now 14 months and we have another on the way... think I will buy this. Thanks! When we bought our first one a lot of the reviewers said it can scratch easily. Because of this, we purchased covers to go over crib walls and they worked great - not only protected the wood but protected the baby from knocking his head straight to wood. I recommend a set as well unless you want baby teeth marks all over when he/she can start to stand. Actually here is the ones we purchased - they work perfectly on this crib! http://www.amazon.com/Trend-Lab-G...ail+covers

I bought the crib, changing table (one with 3 drawers and hand rails all the way around) and the dresser all from Hayneedle about 12 months ago. Came in a reasonable amount of time in perfect condition. Also, after that purchase apparently we accumulated points which we were able to use to take $40 off our next purchase which we used to purchase the mattress... nothing but good things to say about the site.

I'm not familiar with Hayneedle.com so I can't speak to them but I have purchased 2 of these cribs from Amazon and have been very happy with them. Our oldest son has been in this crib since he came home from the hospital. We converted it to the toddler bed shortly after he turned 3 and it has been doing a great job holding up. I am looking forward to when we can use the optional rails to turn it to a full size bed several years down the road.

If both cribs hold up long enough to be converted to full sized beds (and so far they are doing great) then they would have been great buys for us. I would recommend this crib without hesitation.

I too was hesitant when I placed my order but the crib arrived somewhat fast and there weren't any damages in shipping, so I can't complain.
I also see a bunch of accolades and awards on their site and they're headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska...so I think they're legit (no, I don't work for them).

Thanks,
I do..this was on my alternatives to Kalani.
The Reagan is 5 inches longer as an infant crib than the Kalani but the Kalani is 4 inches wider.
But if you plan to convert the bed, the Reagan's extra space might help since the 5 inches will convert as a extra width towards a full sized toddler bed.

However, the my biggest issue with the Reagan is that, the Kalani is a better build (almost 10 lbs heavier) and Kalani's front/rear rails serve as a more functional headboard/footboard after conversion.

The Reagan just looks weird when you convert to a full-size bed.

What a great deal! The site had the cheapest set I've seen. Too bad I've already ordered mines. Frown

Hmmm....gonna have to move into a toddler bed here and then put the new one in the old crib...but the crib has gone through 2 of ours already and 2 of a in-laws....tempting to just buy 2.

Might be..but the mattress in that combo is pretty basic and is worth only $40 online (which means the crib is still $160+tax on Walmart).

I own this crib and had it for almost 3 years. My daughter began chewing on it during teething stage but otherwise has held up very well. Why does Walmart sell things under different names? I am almost certain its so you can't get other sites to price match them (Sneaky). We recently purchased a dresser where Walmart called the brand Blakewood when it was Ameriwood. Nothing said Blakewood on any packaging or box.
