Wow, awesome deal. Paid $349 for this about a month ago. Absolutely love the camera. Focusing works for me. Only thing I find annoying occasionally is the shot to shot time, sometimes it just thinks too long between shots. Totally worth $310 though.
Also picked this up for $350 a month or so ago, extremely pleased with it for that price so this is even better.
Here's the Ken Rockwell review: http://kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-m/m.htm - note that there's been a firmware update since he reviewed, which resolved the majority of autofocus issues (at least I'm assuming it did, since mine has the latest firmware to fix it and autofocuses quickly/accurately)
I shoot a lot of video and this deal is very tempting to me... To use it with my current EF lenses, I'd need to spent about $140 on Canon's adapter, but assuming I could sell this kit lens that's included in the deal for 120, that means I'm spending about $330 on a 1080p camera body (with the added benefit of being extra compact) that shoots video every bit as good as my 60D, from what I've read. Better in some ways, since the EOS-M has a longer continuous recording time.
Of course for photos a 60D blows this out of the water, but sometimes on a video shoot you can use an extra body and this is a solid, cheap solution.
neweggflash has it for $309 for those that are still looking. Great deal! Happy with my 22mm but I think the 18-55 is more versatile.
Avoid!! This is not sold by Newegg. It's sold by "Photo-4-Now". Look at the bottom of the page. And what is Photo-4-now? It's an alias of Sunset Electronics, which has an "F" from the Better Business Bureau. Who knows if you're getting a gray market item, or what they'll do? I just know I don't buy from businesses that have an "F" from the BBB and then try to hide under a new name. No thanks!
