iPhone 4s Straight Talk get Data/MMS to work:
Open this URL on your mobile and install the APN. Works like a charm. unlockit.co.nz [unlockit.co.nz]

A few reasons to go with AIO over Straight Talk despite the small difference in monthly price:

1) Lots of reported issues with ST and random data throttling
2) Issues using some internet services with ST (like Uber app wouldn't work on ST for a while)
3) ST still has issues with MMS
4) Coverage "may" be better with ATT owned AIO
5) Visual voicemail works on AIO but does not on Straight Talk
6) Porting number to AIO is a lot smoother. Straight talk has issues with porting your number out (currently they can't port to AIO)
7) I am switching from ATT, and moving to AIO should be seamless because again owned by same company

It's about $5-7 more a month over a year on AIO (ST charges tax), and AIO has 3rd month free so it's not a huge difference.

Just my $5 opinion

iPhone 5 and above = 4G LTE
iPhone 4S = 3G/HSPA+(4G lite)
iPhone 4 = 3G
iPhone 3GS and below = 3G/EDGE

Nexus 4 = 3G/HSPA+ (4G lite)

This is no matter what carrier you use with your iPhone...

IF you're bringing an AT&T phone, it must be 4G LTE capable in order to use 4G LTE service from straight talks att sim... e.g. If you have an iPhone 5, it has to be the 1428 model.

While you are there. Make a share on their site give $1 to a terminally ill child. Have a heart.

New SIM NOT Required for LTE... but highly recommended
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013...h-att-lte/
Options:
1.$7 sim with free overnight, plug in, transfer account online, profit!
2.Wait for ST to finally get to updating your sim in their system (they plan to upgrade all of the old BYOD ATT sims, eventually)
3.Call and try to find someone to manually update your sim in their system (not recommended unless you enjoy dealing with customer support)

Here is the new apn

The new APN settings can also be viewed on Straight Talk's website here:

If you don't get data with APN=tfdata try "tfdata 1" (Add space and 1 after tfdata)

Some user reports MMS not working with the new APN setting on iPhones. If the above does not work, try this
Cellular Data

Straight Talk Users Sue Walmart And TracFone Over Throttling Of Unlimited Data Plans
and also terminate their ‘unlimited’ customers’ data, typically without any notice or warning

http://consumerist.com/2013/07/30...ata-plans/
The plaintiffs in the suit detailed how the companies slowed their speed of service or cut it off it altogether and then blamed the subscribers for misusing of the service. The plaintiffs David Hansel, Edward Tooley and Christopher Valdez filed their claims on behalf of others, and allege breach of contract, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, unjust enrichment, and violations of Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, California's Unfair Competition Law and California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act.

In addition, ........
“Defendants terminated customers’ data at the behest of their wireless network partners when a particular cell tower is at or near data capacity, regardless of whether that customer’s data usage has exceeded defendants’ secret data usage limits,” the complaint states.

Free Overnight Shipping for SIM Cards: Select the Sim you want to purchase at checkout select overnight shipping ($14.95) before confirming the purchase it will deduct the Overnight Shipping charge.
A word of advice regarding shipping: Their free 1-day shipping is with Fedex, requires someone to be there in person to sign for the package. No signing on the door tag, no leaving it with neighbors, no signing a release for them to leave it, no redirecting it to a Fedex store, you HAVE to be home to accept the package. I spent an hour on the phone with ST customer service and Fedex and did not get anywhere. I had to work from home that day to accept the package but many people don't have the option of working from home.

Can anyone with an AT&T 4G LTE phone and Straight Talk confirm that this is actually working?

I don't think so. I believe the AT&T LTE bands are not on the Nexus 4.

Only in markets where AT&T has the 'AWS' LTE band will the Nexus 4 LTE work.

Also rep to the OP for the $6.99 sims! Ordered three sims but was not able to get free shipping.

I am debating this or AIO Wireless which is directly AT&T contract free service. My guess is that AIO Wireless probably will get "better" service over the net10/straight talk guys.
