If I'd call them to ask for explanations what they had in mind with "limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated" regarding bogo, would it be enough to settle this issue?
Because an answer on the question "can we use $3/2 coupon in addition of 2 bogo with purchase of 2 Pantene shampoos and 2 conditioners" offering our own interpretation why we should be alloweed to do so, may have nothing to do with the "an original intent", as proven with Clairol coupon.
1. May I remind everyone, we are talking NOT about act of using coupons in store, which is discretion and sole responsibility of every single shopper, but what type of discussion on use allowed here on sd.
2. I have nothing against anyone personally, but agree/disagree with opinions. In this particular case I see a discrepancy between the official rules posted and mod's statement, accentuated by this thread.
...I have no intention of chiming in on the subject of the coupon itself, but a mod (nuffsaid) has issued her decision and another mod (TR) has agreed and said enough, done, eod.
SD is a private site and mods enforce rules as THEY interpret, not as YOU (or me or anyone else) interpret.

Now, I realize that I have ruffled some feathers... quite a few actually.
The rules of SD are the same... in regards to discussing the use of a x/xx with a bogo.
PG changed a few words...you may still discuss the use of these coupons as you always have. I will NOT put up with "you cannot combine those" in response to these scenarios in deal threads.
That is all...PERIOD

No. What nuff is saying is that the discussion of these scenarios is allowed on SD. It is not SD's job to police coupon usage at individual stores. We facilitate discussion of their use, whether or not that usage may be YMMV is part of the discussion.
That's it. Period.
