Okay. I installed Anna. It initially load via Steam, but afterwards the Kalypso Launcher comes up. You are then required to register an account to play game via launcher.
To create an account, you simply entered an email address and assign a password for it on the launcher window. Afterwards, you will need to activate the account by responding to an email it then sends to you. After you activated the account, you can start the game within the Kalypso launcher.
From then on, everytime you start the game from Steam or game shortcut, the Kalypso launcher will auto load after it, with your email and password that you created, prefilled in the required login fields. All you need to do then is click "Continue", to start game.
I guess registering isn't too tedious of a process. But it still sucks that it need you to register an account to play. Steam should be more than sufficient.
BTW: Anna has nice intro music. Not sure if I will play it though. Trailer seems scary. xD
Thank you, Moon, for the detailed trip report. Not sure if it turns me off the game. Sounds like it stays in my Steam library in case I need to reinstall, then the launcher just comes with it.
I remembered there was a Tropico bundle before (from another indie bundle) with all the Tropico games. Trying to find out if that bundle had included all the DLCs. IndieGala currently do have a Tropico bundle for $4.99[indiegala.com], but has no DLCs. (You can pay $0.99 to get "Tropico Reloaded"--prequels, to complete your Tropico collection)
Guess, I'll just have to wait for Steam sale for the DLCs, when they have those 80%+ off. That would be my price point to buy additional Tropico DLCs.
Looks like there was a sale on Tropico 4 Collector bundle[greenmangaming.com] (game and DLCs, but still missing 3 DLCs) for $8 at GMG at one time. These DLCs can end up costing a lot if not on sale. Changed mind. Going to get base games for now. Maybe get Tropico 4 Collector bundle when it's on sale later or add more money to Humble later. Don't really care for Jagged Alliance anyway, it's not good as previous one.
Hmmm... I am debating about the Humble Bundle or just getting the India Gala one.
The Tropico game on Humble Bundle and Indie Gala are both Steam keys. If the DLC you are buying as an add-on is a Steam key, it should work, unless for some reason it's region restricted. The link you posted, indicate "Other DRM"; it did not say Steam DRM.
