Hello FreedomPop,
Can you please help? FreedomPop support is not permanently fixing my issue.

I was late in updating my billing info. I updated it.

One day it work. Next day it doesn't. And I have to email FreedomPop support, and they re-activate/re-enable my account again.

It work for one day, then next day it doesn't. Then I have to email FreedomPop support again.

I just want my internet permanently fixed. I want My FreedomPop account page to show total data (usage). And my Freedom Friend data (500MB) to be returned. Hopefully sometime before Nov end. Thanks!

Hey there,

Can you please PM me your account email or ticket #. I'll be happy to take a look for you.

I'm having a bit of hard time PM'ing you.

SD will not let me PM you my account email.
I think because I'm too new on SD.

I tried PM'ing you my ticket #, but my PM's Sent Items doesn't show that anything was sent.

Hi,

I just realize my account was charged $10 for top-up in the day I downgrade to the free 500MB plan. I never request top-up. Could you look into it? My account is go1367go@gmail.com.

you might not have requested it, but its checked by default in your account, and if you don't "uncheck" it, it happens automatically...

Anybody experience a weird issue with their Overdrive Pro. I don't really know how to explain it but whenever I use the charger that comes with the device, it would boot up very slowly and never pick up any 4g signal. However, when I switch over to my Touchpad charger, the device boots up much faster and the 4g shows up right away. I am not sure if I just have bad luck with the charger or what, but I am on the second one from Freedompop and the same issue still occurred. No problem with the HP Touchpad charger, but whenever I switch back to the one that come with the device, instant issue of no signal.

Have you tried charging through USB port?

(According to the included manual, the charge adapter and the usb cable are separate, but mine came with the cable integrated to the charge adapter. When I tried charging with a usb cable I have, my computer locked up -- think waiting for install usb drivers.)

Did you get a two piece charger, or one made all together (are the charging block and the cord seperate or all 1 piece)?

the ORIGINAL OEM Sierra Wireless charger was 2 pieces... A charging block and a usb cord. the "generic charger" is just a regular cell phone micro-usb phone charger. (Mine had Motorola stamped on it).

I've questioned whether the generic charger is actually the CORRECT charger, and whether it is providing the correct amp rating to the battery.

ALSO, you might have a cheap generic battery. It your battery is solid back on one side and doesn't have the SIERRA WIRELESS logo in RED PRINT, its a generic battery with a 20-30 minute limit. i've had two generic batteries, and they're bad!

Freedompop said the ODP devices come from their "supplier", and they have no control over what devices are sent out........Request another one if you're having issues. 90 days, and its yours permanentely!

I got the generic one piece charger both times and both times it failed to connect to the network. My HP Touchpad and Samsung Charger works fine so it's definitely a charger issue.

Did the ODP you received have the "FREEDOMPOP" logo in blue (sorta like an overlay "sticker"), or one like the pic I posted here too.

did you battery have SIERRA WIRELESS in RED on one side?

Sorry to revive an old thread with questions probably answered 1000 times, but i'm getting an Overdrive Pro wifi from a friend that used it on Sprint.

My hope is to sign up with Freedompop and use this overdrive pro for 3g/4g and pay $4.00 per month for 500g of data (occasional net surfing at work and in the car on roadtrips- no movies or videos). Of course, Freedompop makes it VERY difficult to determine what you can and can't do. Any ideas if this will work?

I've currently got Sprint for my phone and Ting for my wifes phone, so I'm comfortable with Sprints coverage. Most of our coverage is 3g, so the 4g only devices won work for me.

Thanks for any ideas!

What do you mean "can and can't do"? You can do whatever with the bandwidth you get (well, within reason and law).

You'll need to make sure you can bring the device over to freedompop.

We do not support BYOD for our hotspot devices. Only hotspots purchased directly from FreedomPop will be able to activate on our service.
