How do you guys like VM? I have been on Tmobile for 15+ years. Moving and Tmo service is shotty at best. Thinking of going VM.
I have had VM for three years. Works great in northern Ohio and the New York area. I get 4G in many places although I know that's on the way out. Better than LTE right now which is not available in either of those places for me. Hopefully that will change soon.
How's the 4G?
Maybe my PRL is out of date, but my 3G on my Optimus V blows.
As I said, it works great for me. Hm, maybe you should update your Optimus V, I had one eons ago and I thought it was ok on 3G.
Two yars ago, Virgin had a fantastic deal on all their phones on Cyber Monday. I think they were all something like 60% off. Can't find the old thread here, but it was huge. Last year they didn't have any amazing deals, but I think it was around Xmas last year when they had a similar sale. I bought a Evo 4G as a back up phone for $120 which was an amazing deal then. Still have it sealed in box actually, should probably try to sell it...
here's my two cents.
Virgin will have amazing deals on their iPhone 4 this year to get rid of all their extra stock. Their Virgin Mobile branded android phones will also be priced low to sell. here's what I expect to see from VM this year:
iPhone 4 8gb $140
iPhone 4s 8gb $200
Virgin Mobile supreme $180
LG Op times f3 4g $99
Samsung GS3 $200
Virgin Mobile awe $100
Samsung galaxy ring $89
Samsung galaxy victory $150
I am really hoping that VM will do a good sale on the Galaxy S III. I'll jump on it in a second if it is $200 or less. I'm probably gonna get a new VM phone no matter what before the end of the year though since I'm sick of my old one.
I see that Target's Black Friday ad shows the VirginMobile Awe for $20! It has good specs for a low end phone and very good reviews on VM site and Phandroid. Phandroid also gives the impression that it's easy to root. I'll definitely be snatching up one of these phones.

2 years ago I brought the motorola triumph and sold it on CL. Last year I brought 2 HTC One V, sold one on ebay and use the other on pageplus. Considering that I am using the Kyocera Kona for $5 with Ringplus now, I don't know if I am going to buy a phone this year. Maybe if they have one for really cheap and then flip it on ebay.
