Definitely a beginners full suspension bike, but gets decent reviews and for the price seems alright.

Features
Full suspension
Shimano components (entry level)
Disc brakes (160mm rotors)
Size: 18(M) & 20(L)

Add to cart to see the 25% off discount.

Use paypal to checkout to get free 2-day shipping

Linky [dickssportinggoods.com]

EDIT:

I signed up to get the 10% off, but upon doing that the 25% in-cart discount dropped to only 22.5%... still with the 10% discount it dropped the final price to $236.23

I really love dicks. I think about dicks all the time. Yesterday I was on my way home from work and I pass right by a shopping center that has dicks and I stopped off and hit up dicks. It was great, dicks are enjoyable.

I'd be wary on buying a cheap full squish bike. If ur goin full squish u generally need to drop 1 large minimum in order to get something thats somewhat enjoyable to ride. Afterall, why u riding full squish bike if u aint gonna be droppin off some rocks and doing some downhill? If ur doing that sorta stuff ur gonna need a decent bike and ur gonna have a good time. If u plan on just cruisin some trails with ur bros or ridin on down to dicks you would be just fine with a hard tail. I'm sure dicks has some hard tail too.

Surprisingly "kinda" worked lol... I edited the OP, but in short it works but drops the 25% discount to only 22%... but you still save overall.

You also ranked the Focus a 3. You seem to rank everything a 3 unless it's $500.

the focus was also a low end bike using Shimano Altus, SR Suntour fork, The brakes are irrelevant since rim brakes are easier to maintain than disc brakes. The discs are just for you to look like you are serious.

This bike isnt much different as far as capability. Only difference is that "rear shock"

Does it make your ride smoother? maybe
Is it safer than a hardtail? probably not

a sub 500$ bike can only do so much safely.

Still a 3 in my books. Puts it in the I may ride this off the road someday.

a 5+ would mean its capable of some off roading with rocks, bumps, drops..

I'd rate this a 2, maybe a 1. That rear shock is totally a joke. It's the same thing they use on $100 bikes from Walmart. So all the rear suspension does is add weight. It would be MUCH better to have a lightweight hardtail (like the Focus) than a heavy full suspension bike like this. The Focus was a Deore 8 speed vs. an Altus 7 speed on this bike.

BUT, to not be too harsh, Nishiki bikes tend to be solidly built and this bike could be ok for someone who wants to buy new and doesn't want to spend much money. Just recognize what you are buying.

yea, this bike is a step (small step )up from walmart target bikes (which i give 1)...typically walmart bikes dont even use shimano parts...

i got this bike recently brand new. i knew what i was getting. the frame seems solid, but the components are so-so. my right pedal literally fell out of the crank 3 weeks into it. ate away the threading and all. had dicks get me a new crank and pedals. i'm thinking of replacing the fork and the crank on this, possibly a rear shock. any recommendations? thanks.
