If this had the dual fans I'd jump. Too many good deals recently to get just a so-so card. $110 is very cheap but I think I'd regret not waiting for a better model. Good find though OP
You do realize that all 7850s are voltage locked anyway right, so they don't need that much cooling? I have the 7790 version which appears the same design as this card, and it's very quiet and cool and drew less power than the 7790 ASUS DirectCU version with 2 fans. That made me a believer in the "one big fan" design vs the "two little fan" design. One big fan that moves as much air as 2 little fans will be quieter and cool just as well.
I was tempted by some of the other cards on sale, but this card is ~$86 after cashback/coupon (~$96 if you don't have the coupon) and easily overclocks to stock 7870 speeds or more. It's energy-efficient and runs cool and quiet. Next step up is the 30% faster, hot, energy-hog Powercolor 7870 MYST for $40-65 more depending on cashback and taxes, and Powercolor rebates are risking whereas MSI's TD rebates are easy. Sure the 7870 MYST is 30% faster speed, but it also costs me 76% more money and costs more to operate and is louder and hotter. I bought the 7850 and can't wait to get it and the 2 free games. I'll use the money I saved on other things.

If you are interested in the Far Cry 3 game along with this card then read below.
I just went through a long process between Ubisoft and AMD about claiming Far Cry 3. For those looking to redeem the rewards voucher take note; the Far Cry 3 promotion has expired as of 10/28 (yesterday). Ubisoft claimed their part of the promotion (far cry) expired as of 10/15 and the printed expiration date on the rewards card "was a printing mistake" and "that they should have removed the selection from their website already." Taking this to AMD they got back to me yesterday stating my rewards voucher would be honored and any "Far Cry 3 Uplay codes must be redeemed on Uplay by October 28th"
This should be FP faster than Newegg one, but I bet you that SD mods would not do it since they get more commission from NE than TD
I'm in for 1, finally pulled the trigger
1. tax free in CA - check
2. 10% CB from DC - check
3. Free shipping - check
4. rebate in 3-4 weeks - check
5. $10 off emailed coupon (ymmv) - check
total is 140 - 10 - 13 CB - 30 Rebate = $87
I know some people can double dip in CB websites which makes it cheaper.
Not a big upgrade from 5850 I had, but for the price, I can't resist it. Im going to CL my 5850 for $100
