With Staples blocking sign-ups from common free email services, it is now more challenging to generate coupons. But have no fear, there are still many ways to go about it. Here is an overview of the easiest way.
You'll first need to buy a domain name. Check out registrars like namecheap.com and name.com, and shop around for deals.
Then, sign up with an email service provider that offers a "catch-all" mailbox feature. This means that emails sent to any address at your new domain will automatically be collected into that catch-all mailbox, essentially giving you unlimited email addresses. For example, if your domain is example.com, emails sent to email@example.com (fill in the blank with whatever you want) can be automatically sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. No need to create new email accounts.
Gmail via Google Apps for Business[google.com] offers the catch-all mailbox feature, as does many other email service providers. It's also possible that your domain registrar included email services when you bought your domain from them (though they may not necessarily offer a catch-all mailbox). Search around for a service that you like.
This sounds complicated and time consuming, but it's really not. Feel free to PM me if you need some general advice about the process. -Olafur

Note: Even though the stated expiration date is 1/31/14, it is shown 4/4/14 on the printed receipt. So in some cases, the coupons could be redeemed after 1/31/14 with some talking to Staples cashier/manager.

Reason: added more options for coupon
Plus the coupon is around 20% if your purchase is just at or over $50. That covers more than tax and easily turns an FAR into a MM even after tax. However, we need to get some coupons before we see how much we can abuse...er...use them.
I suggest you use real emails, or use the gmail trick. I am so glad I had a dozen email subscriptions prior to last week, getting many of the 40% off coups (but the offers did vary per account, so you need a lot of email accounts to get a good percentage of the best coups)
Staples might be sending more email coups in the future since killing app coups.
