The *official* "Screw you Bill Belichick, get the hell out of my favorite sport, you're ruining the game" thread about the lack any New England Patriots sportsmanship (Now w/ POLL)

Quick open letter to the head coach of the Patriots:

Dear Mr. Bill,

You're the head coach of the best team in football, congratulations on your tremendous efforts. Now fark off and leave the sport to those that do not just consider it simply a business because you're sucking the fun out of the game and ruining this sport for not only fans of the teams you embarass, but kids that are learning about something you seem to totally lack: sportsmanship.

Its easier to explain Janet Jackson's floppy booby during a wardrobe malfunction than the planned and continued deliberate actions taken by the players under your direction. Sure its your job to win games, are you not good enough to do it without constantly skirting the rules, using deception and just out and out farking cheating? You're a dirty, unkempt, embarassment to the game.

Get the hell out of the sport.

Sincerely,
- Fans of the NFL and the ultimate purveyors of your salary
Against which team would Tom Brady most likely suffer a career-ending injury?

New poll should be "Will the Patriots ever win another Super Bowl with Bill Belichick as head coach?"

i say beat them all by 50!

yeah i mean it was pretty trashy going for it on 4th down in the 4th up by 4+ scores...... i mean come on wtf is that?

NE defense was on my fantasy team so i was even kind of rooting for it but while watching i was kind of like wow i hope tom brady gets hurt

theyre asking for one of their impact players to get hurt... opposing teams are gonna start getting dirty when theyre running up the score that way watch and someone will get hurt

watch

wow, hoping players get hurt, maybe u should hope that your team can win rather than rely on others to get hurt

so, its 4th and 4, what should he do? kick a fieldgoal?

4th and 4 provides the best chance for defence to stop anf get the ball, as if they could stop anyone...

Did any of them call a fake spike stop the clock touchdown pass play up 24-0? Hey Brady ... be your own man, get some cojones, and tell the coach that isn't right. Exactly which game did Belichick come up with the "we're calling a timeout JUST before the snap to fark with the kicker". Be a man ... you have the talent to beat a team 6 ways to Sunday, why pull this bush league crap?

Call it running up the score, call it whatever the fark you want, .... Last time I checked, this was the NFL, there is no "Mercy Rule". This ain't pop warner anymore. It's the big leagues and Belichick and the Pats are gonna play every game like it's the super bowl, because they are so good. Everyone needs to quit their whining and grow up. This is the NFL people, this isn't high school anymore. Score as much as you want. Prove your point. And win. This is business, it's not supposed to "sportsman-like" and "fun".
Did OP mention anything about running up the score? As it is a business, tell me why the NFL concerned about what star players do off the field?

I'm not a fan of running up the score, but if I'm correct, I believe the Redskins had the option of stopping them - although it didn't appear that anyone told them about this particular option. I say that if the trailing team agrees to stop trying, then the leading team should stop scoring. Until that point, STFU and take your medicine.

That said, I have to agree with the post that said other teams are going to start playing dirty. I don't want to see anyone get hurt, but don't be shocked when Brady gets sacked and someone goes all Albert Haynesworth on his face. It'll happen soon. Moss, Brady, Maroney - someone is going to get nailed.

Down 38-0, the Redskins stopped them inside the Washington 10 ... but Patriots went for it on 4th and 1. "What do you want us to do? Kick a field goal?" Belichick said when asked about going for it on fourth down. "It's 38-0. It's fourth down. (We're) just out there playing." I'm a little surprised they didn't call an onside kick following their next score.

Fark you. Seriously.

I'd hate to see a player get hurt due to the callousness of their coach.

what new england is doing is not "ruining the sport". i have much more of a problem with the criminal acts of a lot of the players and the role models they present, rather than with some awesome players kicking the crap out of their opponents (especially since the other team has the chance to try and stop them). i don't know about leaving brady in there as long as he has been in there. if you are up 5 touchdowns i think i would definitely sit his arse so i will have him healthy for the next game. same with moss.

whoever said randy moss will never win a superbowl is pretty bold. even without randy and jabar gaffney in there the pats would still be the best team right now. i know things can change but randy is probably going to get that ring this year. i think the pats look stronger than they ever have. maybe the colts can beat them this weekend. i hope it's a good game.

bingo. there's unwritten rules. you don't run up the score on a team you have beat. you don't throw when up late, you just try to run out the clock. its not that the pats dropped 50 on the skins.

you have them beat. you don't need to kick them when they're down. kick a fg, be up by 40+. its like basketball.. you're up by 20-30 you sit your stars (and yes, i know they've been pulling brady). you don't try to embarass people.
