I would buy it if I was looking for another one. Extremely happy with what I got for what I paid ~$325, approximately 14 months ago. Not sure if it is exact same model, 50 inch Element, 60 hz, jbl soundbar for mine.
I do play CoD, Gran Turismo 5 on my PS3 on it, no shadowing.
yes there are probably better TVs out there, better reputation brands as well, but if looking for absolute base cost for a no frills TV, cannot beat this in my opinion. in the interest of full disclosure, I did buy the Target add-on warranty on it although I never bother with warranties. I have not had to even think about using it, no issues whatsoever (knock on wood). If you do get one, hope it is as good to you as mine has been to me.
4th attempt at posting this (slickdeals app crashing..) but wanted to give credit where it is due.
I remember the deal was good last year as well, but at my local Target they had a ton of them in stock. Went in when it was opening and they had a lot, went about 8 hours later and they still had a decent amount. Either they had a lot of stock, or no one wanted it.
what was last year's deal? i doubt it was as good as this one
i'm going to check out the store, and if i can't find one, i'm going to hunt you down
Watching a 50" plasma right now. Three years old. Looks and works great.
that's because the burn-in effect occurred on your eyeballs and you can no longer see properly

from what I've read on cnet I believe, movies are only made at a 60Hz refresh rate so getting a 120 Hz does not necessarily mean the picture well be any better or smoother. I was looking at a 40" element led at target the other day and I don't know if my eyes were playing tricks, but while they were showing football replays it looked like the tv couldn't keep up with the action and was blurring during parts of the play's. I didn't notice it on any of the tv's next to it. I know if at least 3 people who bought the Emerson's from Walmart through previous bf deals abd they are still working like a charm. I really like the price on this but may still go with the 50" Emerson, unless I talk myself into the 60" vizio.
