If you're a veteran SDer, you have so many gadgets that you would never consider dedicating a precious outlet to one of these. The bathrooms are an exception, but they'd be on most of the time there because they're dark most of the time, yet only needed for part of the night when the rest of the house is dark. Think I'll just flip a switch, thanks.

They still make those, don't they? Night lights with switches?

Edit: somehow I missed that this was from dailysteals. Now I need a trip to the bathroom. Hope there's enough light or the seat's up. Wish me luck.

Reminds me of when I was on a march with the Subterranean Urbanization Society. That was our slogan! Go ahead, shout it out loud a few times - you'll feel like you can do anything, even walk upside down!

I'm a gadget freak and an admitted SD junkie but these were an easy pass. Couldn't think of 1 place where I would use/need these.

"When I was your age, my night light didn't turn on automatically...."

When I was your age, we didn't have money for night lights, so if we asked for a night light because of monsters - we got hit and were told that we should be grateful for what we have or the monsters would eat us in our sleep.

In for 5.

Done! Thank you. I'm becoming such an SD junkie. This will be good for my gramma's house since she gets up in the mid of night.

i remember my alcoholic father beating me under the dim light of an old incandescent night light that came on at dark, which was about the same time my father had drank enough beers to realize what a drain i was on his life, and how I held him back from becoming what he really wanted to be

in for 2, thanks OP

Outlets have to be the right direction for these to work and just about all of my outlets are horizontal, not vertical, and therefore, are pretty useless. Must be why they're unloading them on ebay.
Do you live in the US? The only time I have seen outlets installed horizontally was overseas.

I already have a bunch of Mr Beams lights in my house, but I am getting tempted by the low price and good reviews of these night lights.

Picked up a few of these; low power, elegant design, soft light, reviews are pretty darn good -- christmas gifts acquired. =D Thanks OP!

EDIT: They got me on NJ sales tax. ;')

Bit the bullet and bought a set! They look too good to pass up...I'm sure I'll find a use for them.
