Popup "Powered by Vizu" ads on SD?

Since when has SD had popup ads? The "powered by Vizu" survey box/ad slid onto the screen and covered up the content on SD I was looking at just now. Had to navigate away from the page to get rid of it. Thought maybe I got hit with adware/spyware, so I did a scan, and nothing on my end. It definitely came from SD or the ad servers SD uses.

Annoying.

We don't allow popups, but some advertisers like to be sneaky from time to time.

Thank you for reporting; we'll look into the issue immediately Smilie

Which page were you on when you saw this, by the way?

I was just browsing the Hot Deals forum. I clicked on one of the threads, it came up, and then that slid in from the side with some kind of survey. I should have screen grabbed it, but I was more concerned wtih getting rid of it.

Don't worry about a screengrab; just knowing it's on the forums as opposed to the front page is helpful for trying to reproduce it Smilie

Only happened once. Haven't seen it since. However, I was browsing PlayStation 4 stuff on Frys/Target/Amazon/Best Buy, and the survey was related to the PlayStation 4, so maybe that will help trigger it.

It seems to be related to PlayStation 4 browsing. In one tab I was browsing PS4 stuff at frys and target just now, in the other tab SD refreshing trying to trigger it, and when I changed to the SD tab one of the times, flash popped up a dialogue that "metrics.nt.vc" was blocked due to a potentially unsafe operation. The ad at the bottom of the screen on SD was white and didn't display, so I'm assuming that was the one that was blocked due to the unsafe operation.

Thanks for the info.
