I've been using Anker batteries for about 3 years now. When they first showed up I just thought they were just a generic battery company that comes and goes like so many others, but I've since replaced all my cell phone batteries with Ankers and they have been going strong for years. No other generic batteries I've tried have life cycles as long. I've even talked to Anker reps at electronic trade shows, they are professional and aggressive about getting their name brand built up on quality.
the problem is this battery only has 0.8A output. most phones nowadays come with 1.0A chargers. this battery will still charge but at a slower rate, provided nothing power-intensive is being used (big screen, GPS, etc.).
i'd have gotten one as if it were < $10 (i'm buying another anker product and the discounts can't be stacked!). i'll just pay $4 more to get a full 1.0A battery from another reputable brand.
