so far the best BF deals for the laptop specs I want have been this and this http://slickdeals.net/f/6471220-asus-vivobook-s400ca-rsi5t18-ultrabook-intel-i5-4gb-ram-500gb-hdd-24gb-ssd-14-touchscreen-windows-8-450?v=1. I know it's just a matter of portability/personal preference on style vs a bit more speed for these laptops. I was wondering if you guys think there will be any upcoming deals that can beat these or perhaps cyber monday deals?
How are specs of that laptop better than this one?

Oh I must have misworded that. I meant that the Dell Laptop has a slightly better processor + more memory compared to the Asus. While the Asus is more portable and stylish.

Hmmm it says midnight on the 28th. That would technically be Wednesday night/Thursday morning no?

Based on my chat with the Microsoft customer care, it is going to be 28th Night, 12:00 AM, EST time. Which will be Thu night.

Oh no, I'm seeing bad things said about it's poor battery life and graphics card... :'(

Still need to get one though because typing letters and emails on a smartphone sucks after a couple days lol

This is a good deal, but I think third generation i3's are about to take a nose dive in price. So if you miss this one, wait and buy in a month or so for an even better deal.

do you have a link to this 10% student discount? When I do a search on the MS site,
it returns only specific products to which a "student discount" has already been applied.
Is there a student discount "program" I can sign up for, or...?

Looks like they changed how it works. They had a form which you filled out and they emailed you an 10% off promo code that worked on everything. The only thing I could find now was this page that you fill out to get student prices.

Oh wow, wonder which models 550 its gonna be, the 550ca, 550cb, or s550? Either way it just got interesting because the asus has everything the dell has if I'm not mistaken correct?

Looks like the Asus s550.

Not sure on the specs though.

The s500ca will go a day later for $500 I think.

Sorry I meant s550ca or s550cm? Although I can't readily tell the difference other than processor speed.

Idk if asus is gonna be reliable and hold up and the reviews or two years from now I'm gonna have to buy something else, hell idk if the dell is reliable either lol

Toshiba is cheaper but doesn't have BT, no ssd, and no Touchscreen. But has biggger hdd and a 2.4 ghz chip although it is a pentium.

I'm curious about the Asus s550 and the zenbook going on sale, any suggestions on thos? Anyone...?
