When you check out with V.me, the shipping fees are not discounted, even if you have Inner Circle membership. So, make sure that you take that into account while considering this discount - or you pick an item that is either ShopRunner eligible or free shipping eligible on TigerDirect.com

When checking out with the V.me promo, the final checkout page will appear with a "Discount $20.00" shown in the final tally. If it doesn't show, then you won't be credited with the V.me discount.

If you get an error message about something being wrong with your payment method at checkout, several SDers have reported success by changing their V.me payment method to a VISA credit card (V.me usually accepts all credit card payment methods, not exclusively Visa - except in this case).

no, the OP, like so many others who post tigerdirect massive rebate deals, is ignoring all of us who have to pay tax on the original amount. So if everything worked perfectly (all promos and rebates paid out) we'd be paying between $24-27. If the amex deal doesn't pay out or you don't have an amex, it would be $44-47. Still a decent deal, but it's annoying when you have to get out your calculator for these deals.
You are right about not being good with math....or even caluclators....
The AMEX deal is $30 off $100.....so.....
According to your base price of $44-47, the deal would then be $14-17.
No wonder you are confused.

That doesn't make any sense to me. I actually live in a state without tax, but I can't get OP's $14 or $34 numbers.

Assuming Amex with NO v.me stacking, $129.99 + $4.xx shipping - $60 rebate - $20 rebate - $30 Amex = ~$24.

If somehow OP's v.me stacking actually works with Amex (which sounds doubtful), that would be another $20 off, which is a ~$4 SSD. Totally ridic if it actually works that way, but too bad it probably doesn't.

But OP's numbers are $10 higher than those, so I think they include tax already? Otherwise I don't know where those numbers came from.

won't the 5% Discover (for ALL online purchases) work with this?

Nice deal. That being said, I can tolerate small rebates, but this is a big one and its tied to activating and then cancelling a software subscription, both of which are very worrisome to me. I hope everybody that gets in on this makes out well, just not for me Smilie

Sure, but 5% is less than $30 off $100 by using Amex if you have that offer.

5% is also less than the $20 off $100 by using v.me IF Discover doesn't work with v.me (and there are a lot of reports of Discover erroring with v.me for some reason).

I'm aware. I can do the math. I don't currently have an AMEX, so the V.Me is the only thing I can use...hence the question as to whether or not the 5% will credit.

Damn...missed out on it, too. My question is now a moot point. :-/

I don't understand where OP's $140 came from. Is that with tax? So for no-tax states, this should be $24 with Amex promo (assuming V.Me can't be stacked on top of that), right?
I have to pay for SH

You added $4 as SH to get to your $144 number from $140. But where did the $140 number come from? The item was $129.99 before tax/SH...
