Deal Details

I've seen these for $50-$60 listed on Amazon for a while (Moga Pro) and loved the idea but hated the price.

Geekbuying has them on sale now for $23.99 with plenty of time to arrive by Christmas.

Deal link: G910 Wireless BT Gamepad Game Controller - $23.99 Shipped FREE [geekbuying.com]

For anyone not familiar with Geekbuying: Reselleratings.com rating link [resellerratings.com]

I picked a G910 up when I found it listed at $34 on Amazon and have had mine for about 6 days so far. The reason G910 is preferred is because it is identical internally to the Moga Pro and plays all of their games + more.
It has an expandable cradle to fit your phone (fits my Samsung GS3 and my wife's iPhone 4 great) but I've been using it with my CX-919 PC Stick on the big screen mostly.
For anyone curious, it also works perfectly on a Galaxy Tab 10" tablet too.
Basically, anything with Bluetooth capability and Android 3.2 or higher will work.

Eventually I'll post a video if anyone has questions that I can help out with or want to know about specific games. I've been too lazy busy playing games to bother. Big Grin

These will be under the tree this year for the 12yr old and 14yr old that we have in the family.
They're impossible to shop for but we know they love video games so, at less then $25 shipped and proven to be a good buy, this is a no-brainer.

There's lots of informative reviews out there and links to videos, firmware, gamecenter apps, etc that I'll add to the wiki below.

Enjoy!

I'm going to sit this one out as you have 2 days after receiving the item to tell if it's defective. As its a Christmas present i don't have that option.

Thanks pulled the trigger although I was going for the MOGA. Let us see how this performs once it arrives. Smilie TU
From the Game center setup page:

PS1 : Some customers ask what the difference between our G910 and wamo pro game controller, well, actually, they are from the same factory.
However, the wamo pro game controller is designed for china market, the game center, and manual are all in chinese, the G910 is designed for foreign market.
We push them to release the english game center, so our customers can use it without any language problem.

Wamo Pro / Moga Pro are the standard in these types of devices and the G910 is identical.

Thanks for checking...oh well guess I see when it gets here.119 millimeters = 4.68503937 inches maybe Duck Tape
First time in history a guy has been upset about being an inch too long?

I'm sorry.
Could not help myself.
I know, I know.....Cool

is there car/steering/brakes available like above?
You mean, like a standalone brake and steering kit for Android devices?
If that is what you meant, I'm not aware of any yet.
If you find one, make sure to research it to death before you pull the trigger.
There's a large gap between being first to the market and best-bang-for-the-buck.

There are cheaper knock-off Bluetooth game controllers out there like this one, but this is a proven commodity and a great price for what it can do.

Glad you and the family made it through that brother!

Scary stuff...
It seems more extreme than it actually should have been. I just got very unlucky in the situation, all is well now though.

I don't know about the quality, but if you look at the photos, the DPAD copies the pretty crap 360-style DPAD. The MOGA Pro feels a lot closer to classic Nintendo DPADs (I have the MOGA Pro, compared it to a Wii Remote DPAD, it's a shade mushier but pretty darn close).

For a knockoff it bugs me they copy the crap 360 DPAD. It's not like nobody copies the Ninty DPAD or even the Sony DPADs.

That's so funny, because I actually PREFER the version like the 360.
The rounded version let's you get a better full circle when playing movement games instead of feeling like you have to have more of an East, West, North, South movement.

I own this G910 and it's perfect.
I bought some cheap wired USB Playstation knock-offs for the PC so me and my son could play Madden when I found one of my old copies and I hated the feel of the D-Pad and the controllers in general.

To me, the simple design they used here and the feel / feedback of the axis sticks is perfect.
If I had one gripe about it, I think it would probably be that I wish the bottom portion of the handles on each side had a rubberized feel instead of a plastic feel.......but now I'm just being nit-picky.

To-mato, To-ma-to. hug

I'm not really seeing any reviews out there and the videos that come up are all by geek buying and rather uniformative.

Now now now, they're not illegals now, they're uninsured "undocumented workers".
We even gave them California drivers licenses, how cool is that?
They prefer Hispanic to Latino

can also use a wired xbox 360 controller... not sure about wireless xbox 360 or xbox one controllers though...bet a google search will say... but this is a little cheaper and gives the option of having the phone holder which is nice
You can use a wireless 360 controller but you need the USB wireless receiver. It can't interface directly with the Bluetooth on android like ps3/wii/etc controllers.

Yes. The differences are basically these:

1. No cradle for gaming with your phone.
2. Will not play Moga-specific games (basically everything by Gameloft - Assassin's Creed, Despicable Me Minion Rush, Iron Man 3, Asphalt Driving, Modern Combat, NFL Pro 2013, Real Soccer 13, etc)
3. No iCade support for Apple / iOS phones and tablets.

Just go to Google Play store or Amazon App Store.
There are tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of free games to choose from.

Here is an example of what games he can play with this G910 controller and no other, besides the Moga Pro: Gameloft Android Titles [google.com]

By the way, those are awesome gifts and your kid is going to do a backflip.
Nicely Done.

Definitely can play emulator games, but I haven't tried to use it on the PC.
I do know that the PC instantly recognizes it, because I updated the firmware with the PC by plugging the controller into the USB port.
