Deal Details

I've seen these for $50-$60 listed on Amazon for a while (Moga Pro) and loved the idea but hated the price.

Geekbuying has them on sale now for $23.99 with plenty of time to arrive by Christmas.

Deal link: G910 Wireless BT Gamepad Game Controller - $23.99 Shipped FREE [geekbuying.com]

For anyone not familiar with Geekbuying: Reselleratings.com rating link [resellerratings.com]

I picked a G910 up when I found it listed at $34 on Amazon and have had mine for about 6 days so far. The reason G910 is preferred is because it is identical internally to the Moga Pro and plays all of their games + more.
It has an expandable cradle to fit your phone (fits my Samsung GS3 and my wife's iPhone 4 great) but I've been using it with my CX-919 PC Stick on the big screen mostly.
For anyone curious, it also works perfectly on a Galaxy Tab 10" tablet too.
Basically, anything with Bluetooth capability and Android 3.2 or higher will work.

Eventually I'll post a video if anyone has questions that I can help out with or want to know about specific games. I've been too lazy busy playing games to bother. Big Grin

These will be under the tree this year for the 12yr old and 14yr old that we have in the family.
They're impossible to shop for but we know they love video games so, at less then $25 shipped and proven to be a good buy, this is a no-brainer.

There's lots of informative reviews out there and links to videos, firmware, gamecenter apps, etc that I'll add to the wiki below.

Enjoy!

Okay, I'll give it a shot. I primarily want a wireless controller for my PC, the android feature is just a bonus.

hmmm...when I clicked OP's link it goes to sharesell dot com and then goes to geekbuying dot com. Does slickdeals do this or is this a way OP is getting revenue? just curious...

Yeah, it did the same thing to me after I posted my deal and clicked on it to make sure I added the link properly.
That Shareasale thing bothers me, but Slickdeals has to make money to keep this site up and running, so I can't be too angry at them trying to pay the bills.
I just wish that it were a bit more stealthy and in the background instead of a full 5 second pause and then redirect to where the people are posting deals.

Cool

I picked up two of these for Christmas, but I probably should have asked first if they can be used at the same time like multiplayer mode. On a good note I already got my tracking number and its on the way! That was quick!

I kept thinking that this had already been covered earlier in the thread, but I guess not.

To answer your question, yes, it does work in multi-player mode if you want to play games against someone on the same console / PC Stick / Tablet.

Please keep us posted when yours arrives and share some feedback on your initial impressions.
I know you're going to like it (or whoever you bought them for will like it, anyways) because I've had mine for a week now and it's like a ginsu knife, this controller does everything.

Thanks in 4 1.

Glad you guys are all doing ok. It's scary having that happen with kids in the back.

And I'm sure that guy is covered by obamacare, that's why my insurance is going up 75% in January!

Lots of Obamacare comments in this thread, lol.

For the record, I own my own business and buy my insurance privately.
Due to a sleep disorder and a second health issue, my premiums were almost $900 per month, and that is not including my son and my daughter's premiums. (Wife is covered through employer). All totaled, I was paying more than $1k out of pocket every month for good coverage for each of us.
That premium is going to drop to around $460 total now, so I'm not mad at the change.

As for the guy that hit us, if you check back in the thread, you'll see that he was uninjured.
Not a scratch on his crummy little face.
No need for him to need Obamacare. Cool

Without gory details, two things kept me away.....

1. No decent China Android offers vs. what we can find here in USA with name brands

2. Got rear-ended by an illegal (Southern California cliche, I know) and spent some time in the hospital with a fun list of injuries.

But, happy to be back and happy to find a product actually worth chirping about. Big Grin

p.s. I always loved that avatar. hahaha
The nexus 7 and nook hd line killed the Chinese tablet market. Until Rk or allwinner comes out with new soc, I wouldn't buy a Chinese tablet for awhile.

Yeah, that's about exactly what I was getting at when people were/are PM'ing me looking for ChinaTab deals or budget devices.

It's a different story on the 10" tablets, because you can still find deals in that space depending on what you want to give up for a great price (name brand or highest screen resolution or CPU cores, etc).
It's easy to find 10" tablets from $120 shipped all the way up to $180 shipped if you're ok giving up a few features and those pricepoints still crush anything available daily in the US for a name brand device.

On the 7" tablets though.......you might as well go with the big boys because they're getting super aggressive with the bang-for-the-buck ratio.
Some crafty mfg. or chipmaker or engineer in China is going to have to come up with something off the wall or amazing to draw USA buyers back to 7" ChinaTabs for the near future.

Either that or start blowing out Quad-core, IPS, GPS, 7" tablets for $75 shipped. yummy

Price on these devices hasn't gone down in the last 6 months. I bought an fnf iFive x2 for $200 in the spring and it's still at $190.
Rockchip has rk32xx plan for Q1 2014 with quad core A12 and Mali T624 but we will not see them in devices till Spring probably.

Can't you get insurance under your wife?

Well, as in any situation, there are outliers like the fnf.
That is an odd 8.9" that came out at a smokin' price and has just stayed there because it was so good to start there's no reason or room to drop.

There are plenty of 10" tabs that were $225'ish that are now at the $150 range.
What you'll find is that they were overpriced vs. something like the fnf and now they have dropped under because they were not as good spec-wise to begin with........but, I hear ya' in terms of what's on the horizon in Q1 with the chipmakers.
What I would like to see is Samsung having enough bleeding edge processors in the pipeline to be able to give their bottom half to the budget market and put a jolt into the price wars.
Samsung's bottom is still better than some Mfg's top chips, imo. (I'm looking at you Amlogic Cool)

As far as wife's insurance / company / plan, it would actually be MORE expensive for me to go onto hers as I'm a bit of a Frankenstein when it comes to health history. Two pre-existing conditions that are mild, but chronic and will be with me for years unless some type of cure comes along, the sleep disorder being one of them. Add in the fact that I have had and beat cancer once in my life and you have a recipe for a super high premium.

Works well with PPPSSS emulator if you use that one, but no reason it wouldn't work with the others......I can't say for sure yes or no.

The max the cradle stretches is just over 3.5" when you turn the phone sideways.
If the phone is less than 3.5" across, it would fit fine.
