Just bought two of these today; one for myself and one for my parents, as well as a 55" for the boyfriend. Awesome resolution and display. Would highly recommend if you don't want to mess with the lines on Thursday or Friday! I wanted to avoid that myself, and this seemed like the best deal for the money. The 55" version of this TV was also on sale for $699, and the 40" for $495 $479. I know the current "sale" price on the tags in store for the 46 was $699 and the 55" was $799 or $899 I believe. Didn't bother looking at the 40" in store earlier.

If you prefer to go buy it in store instead of online, be sure that you mention the online pricing for these TV's, as they are not listed on the shelf tag in store and do not automatically ring up as on sale. Happy shopping!

Oh, and as far as the glasses go, you can price match Amazon [] for a $2 savings.

ETA: For those of you lucky enough to not be charged tax on Amazon purchases, the 55" [] is for the same price, and so is the 40" []. The 46" is $644.99 $579 now []

46": UN46FH6030AFXZA - now $579.99 UP $30
40" IS $479.99 down $16 dollars though. Since the day changed over to Sunday.
51" PN51F5300 $527.99 []

If you go directly to Samsung those are the same prices once you enter the item into the cart (not the price reflected on the pages prior).

Can I be your boyfriend, if not but just for a day Wink

Kidding aside very nice prices on some well reviewed Sammy's. Makes me wish I hadn't bought my 55" LG last BF.

Yes, but I'd prefer to not ship a TV, and if there's any issues, I can return it easier. I have to pay tax either way, and so do many other people BC there is an amazon warehouse in their state.

What are the chances of 46" price going down more after sunday ? I am on the edge and not sure when to pull the trigger
I'm not sure if this will have a better deal come tomorrow simply BC it's already at employee pricing, which is 3% above what bb pays for the item itself from their vendor/manufacturer.

I ordered the 55" from Best Buy yesterday with delivery of Tuesday.

I hope I made the right decision!

Had a 32" 720p 60hz CCFL Samsung still, since 2008 (it's been the tv that travels with me when I move) and I had a 46" 120hz Samsung CCFL as well since late 2011 and sold it because it was too much hassle to move across states.

I think from 32", the leap will be tremendous!

Plus it has 3.5mm out, its a semi-matte screen (not full gloss) and SAMSUNG! I've seen lots of LG deals crop up, but I've been waiting for one from the brand I prefer when it comes to televisions!

I considered 46" at $549 too, but I think the 55" is better value overall for long term (even though dollar per inch is better with 46" haha). And I too don't feel like dealing with Black Friday craziness.

50" Vizio seems to be better for 599.

Cheaper glasses, and it comes with 8... too lazy to post a link

Yikes. Had to talk my wife out of running out for the 55" by going on about how maybe Costco would have something better. By chance has your boyfriend plugged his into a gaming system yet? Curious about any input lag.
