Be very careful about the $300 promo GC with the TV. Check many complains on FB & other reports. My TV which was according to the dell agent was supposed to have shipped but it kept delaying again and again. I filed BBB complaint. Cos the regular customer service managers were not helpful in giving me any date. The BBB complaint was received by the same people in India and the corporrate office agent from overseas again gave me new delayed date and said NO WAY and I will not receive the $300 gc promo. I sent him back an email and it included an email sent to be by a dell customer service manager mentioning the TV with $300 gc promo. The corporate office agent responded to me back by saying that is not any promo with TV order. There are many reports of customers like us who got screwed with the GC promo deal wih product purchase. some have waited 45 days & GC was still never emailed or sent. They kept getting lied to about this by the agents. Pls check the email sent to me by the dell corporate office.

Dear Mr. *******

This e-mail is a follow up of our conversation today. After our brief discussion about the order today I checked on the order and the latest update shows that the system is estimated to be shipped by the 6th and estimated to be delivered by the 9th of December.

I checked on the order and there is no information about the $300 gift card that will be included with the order. All discounts and promotions have been applied on the total amount you have paid already. To make it clear, no gift coupons will be included with the order.

I will check back on the 6th to see if there is a tracking number updated and will updated you with the status. I will keep you informed on any delays. Feel free to get back to me if you would like to discuss the issue further.

Thanks and Regards,

Dell Advantage sign up will get $45 back as a promo card, people are missing this point.

If anyone needs 60 inch...there is $200 ePromo for it , add some fillers (or a HDMI Cable) and use 3 X $400 Gift Cards to make it to $1200 to get a total of $200 + $225 (3 X 75 ePromo Cards) = $425 in savings + Dell Advantage ePromo Card as well....
NOTE: CHECK IF YOU ARE CHARGED TAX. IF SO, YOU SHOULD BUY 2x$400 and 1x$500 Gift Cards. Dell only allows 3 forms of payment so you need to buy enough gift cards to cover the entire purchase amount.

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sn...u=A6775574

1. Discover card is giving you 5% for online purchase for Dell as well as 10% for the selected category this month. This should net to 15% from Discover. You will not get any other cashback with them for purchasing the GC's.

Okay there is a lot of misinformation and incorrect information flying around:
1) Calling/Chat can accept 3 forms of paying unlike online. This means that if you have 3 Gift Cards that pay for the entire purchase including tax then you can use all 3 else you will have to do 2 GCs and 1 credit card. I had a $271gc so I used that in conjunction with the other 2 $400 GCs without an issue.

2) With what I said above if you purchase something in the future you might be able to use the $300, $75, $75 as long as it covers the entire purchase.

3) The $300 promo as part of the TV offer is NOT INSTANT like the $75s so you will have to wait a few days/weeks for that to come in your email.

4) There was some mistake earlier this morning with the confirmations showing $250 which Dell corrected later so when I got my confirmation it shows clearly $300 Dell Promo Gift Card - Arrives in 10-20 days, carries a 90 Day Exp. Terms at Dell.com/giftcard

5) Lastly, not sure why people are calling bait and switch as the Main Dell page hasn’t showed the $300 promo being advertised for hours and it only showed up when placing the order in the cart. That’s the risk here that if that does not show up on the email then you might be screwed unless you can call and talk to someone at Dell. It looks like the recent posts are not seeing the $300 promo anymore so this might be Dead or a highly YMMV.

Shahhere

Some additions:

1. According to the CRS who placed the order for me, the $300 gift card is shipped together with the TV.
2. We cannot combined promotional gift card through Dell. Promotional means something comes as bonus, such as the $75 from cashstar or this $300 from Dell. But you can use maximum three cards in a phone one chat order as Shahhere mentioned.

Discover CB is 10% (and not 15%) = $89.80

Same exact one

A small ding on it, very minor... I didn't even notice it upon initial inspection.

Dell basically told me to go f myself and return it or contact Samsung. Samsung made me fill out a ticket request for service. I contacted one of the local Samsung authorized servicers and the lady told me that it sounds like impact damage, which is not covered under Samsung's warranty. The service lady told me my only option will be to return it to Dell... which totally screws me out of this good deal.
So don't sign for it until its plugged in and checked out that nothing is wrong? Is this what you/everyone suggest?

So basically I should plug it in and make sure it works before signing?

damn, ordered on 11/26 still showing in production with est delivery of 12/9 yet no calls from shipping company. so i went onto chat to ask and they pretty much just said they'll update me when the time arrives. i asked about the $300 gift card and they said it wasn't on the account! so i sent them my order acknowledgement email and they'll be assigning an agent to handle this lol. this is turning out to be a nightmare. i'll find out more in 24-48 hours...
Don't worry you will get it. There are a lot of us on this deal.

TV arrived and I don't see any issues. Dell Support Specialist called before my TV shipped to make sure the shipping process was smooth. I asked him again about the $300 GC and he said I would get it within 10 days. I was a little worried at first because the front of the box ripped but not all the way to the inside of the box. Played some movies and TV shows and I don't see any abnormal bands. Satisfied with my purchase. Smilie

Mine came today. I'm not going to be using it until early January but after reading about OhioState's ordeal, I plugged it in to make sure that the picture/sound was ok. Worked great - excited to start using this bad boy.

OhioState - good luck, let us know how it goes. Either Dell or Samsung should be able to help if you push them hard enough. Did you buy it with a credit card that offers any type of purchase protection? That might be another route.

I'm sorry to hear about some of the issues people are having with getting this TV delivered. I should be getting mine tomorrow afternoon (Pilot said to be home between noon and 5pm but I can't get home until 1:30 so hopefully that'll be ok). I already missed a delivery on Monday when they called to say they were at my apartment out of the blue, I was surprised because I was at work. I'd pick it up myself from the Pilot warehouse but there's no way this box or the TV without the box will fit in my tiny Prius.

As far as the gift card. I'm on Dell chat with a dude right now. Here's what he said:

8:46:33 PM
Agent Manoj_Kumar12 : I have checked the details and can see that the order is eligible for a $300.00 Gift card. It will be sent via email in 10-20 days from the order Invoice date.

So it'll come by email apparently. Fingers crossed..

terrible customer service by Samsung & dell, I hope dell won't charge for return shipping, on the side note, I just verified the purchase protection on my Amex, it says max of $300 per occurrence and $1000 per calendar year and you need to ship the item to them.

After Samsung told me my TV damage is not covered under warranty, I contacted Dell again and went through the same crap. They offered a refund. I explained that I cannot replicate this deal and demanded the same model or a similar 55" Samsung Smart TV... after pleading my case, they FINALLY BUDGED!!! They agreed to send me a 55" Samsung 3D Smart TV since this one is sold out and they do not foresee stock anytime soon. I spent 5 hours on the phone today... literally. I am exhausted... but I got my way (as I always do Smilie ).

how is everyone tracking their order? Mine says shipped est arrival of 12/4 but I have no tracking info, this is what that section says:

Tracking Number: PILOT ECONOM
Carrier: PILOT
Shipped On: 11/28/2013
Shipping Method: 7 Day Delivery
Order Date: 11/25/2013

Same boat here. Whats more annoying is that I have received two calls from Pilot. One was automated ,asking me to schedule delivery online. and the second one I could not pickup, no voicemail. Calling Pilot is useless, as they have no delivery scheduled for me , but dont know why they called me. I am avoiding calling dell - thats gonna be my last resort.

Update: Looks like they updated the tracking info wrongly. I had another item in the list on dell's website with a tracking number but no carrier. I thought this was the advantage card. Apparently this tracking number was the one for pilot. called and scheduled delivery for tomorrow.

I have an update. I had picked the TV up from Pilot at their local facility last week on Friday. So last night I received a call from Dell around 9PM EST. They were calling to make sure the TV was delivered and that everything was okay with it.

The interesting part was the representative on the phone brought up the $300 gift card before I could even ask about it, saying the same thing we've been hearing about the 10-20 days. I also haven't had any mention of the gift card on any of the emails I've received so far from dell. I don't think anyone else has mentioned getting a call like this from dell right? Anyway keep a lookout for a call from them, they'll probably be calling soon.

Everyone talks about the $300 code, which I'm sure we will get, but has anyone received the $45ish one for Dell Advantage yet? Mine never said when that would come.
