I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share. The same adapter sells at Amazon [amazon.com] for ~$22.

This is a Realtek RTU 8192 Cu chipset. You can just install the driver if you like with no extra 'stuff'.
Just unzip, and use your device manager to install the drivers.

Are these actually decent? Most of the usb wireless cards I've had are iffy.

These are good. They're so good that when I "lent" them to my manager, he hasn't given them back to me for half a year. I've asked him for it back several times. Oh, yes the range is good on these. Also they run stable.

Anyone tried these on synology NAS boxes? I know they support these in V1, but I don't know what this is even after reading the specs.
