Thread Details

I just recently purchased a couple of leather goods made from someone and he doesn't have a eBay store.

I have to send him payments through Paypal but with the use of Discover and their 5% online shopping cashback program, will a paypal money transfer count towards my 5% online shopping?

On a side not they killed the ability to send $$ to people for free via PP. Forget what it was called, but the limits were like $500/mo but it depended on the account. Those payments did count for rewards.

Why would Amazon put Paypal on their 5% cashback bonus for Online services?

I think Paypal counts if you use eBay at least. Here's what I saw (attached)

I believe the answer is YES. This is posted under "Examples of 5% Cashback bonus merchants"
