This is EXACTLY why I'd include the UPC from the "bundled" product....
Because it is a newrequirement, not seen on previous Total Defense rebates. At least, *I* don't remember it on the past rebate from a few weeks ago.
Supposedly these types of rebates have been denied because you did not cut out the address label they provided and attach it to the envelope. Why in the hell would you write their address on the envelope then?? If they say, "circle this".... then I sure as hell won't underline. I'll jump thru whatever hoops I need to get my $60 back. Do what you want.... but why even take the chance? A new requirement means new opportunity for Total Defense to make $60 times THOUSANDS?
Asking for an invoice AND "proof of purchase (UPC)" is pretty clear to me. Think about it... why would they have two separate requirements for the same thing? But yea... hopefully, the rebate robots won't have the same literal interpretation that's right on the page. Good luck is all I gotta say.
