Signup, send money to anyone with an email address. Use a credit/debit card. Max $500/month. Needs your SSN, and the person receiving the payment will need an account as well. You can link the AmazonPayment account to a US bank account.

As per this, there are no fees:

I don't think you can use your gift balance though.

sorry i meant the visa / mastercard gift cards. i guess i should have called it prepaid cards. it doesnt let me edit the title now. Frown

oh! what about rebate visa prepaid cards from Staples? would I be able to cash those out with Amazon Payments? I have had an Amazon Payments account for years, just never used it except to do surveys at the very beginning years ago.

i think this should work. i read through the FAQ, doesnt say anything about prepaid cards! i don't have any prepaid cards right now to try with though.

After you click edit, click on "Go Advanced"

I thought the post meant I could cash out my Amazon Gift Cards.

You need 2 accounts (with separate SSN) otherwise they will shut you down. I have been doing this for 1+ years... Over 6K in prepaid cards from me to my wife.

Thanks...not sure if the 5% opportunity cost by not just adding these cards to my amazon balance is worth getting married, but i will start thinking about it Smilie
