Well, nowadays with Norton, you basically bet whatever the latest version is anyways. Basically, my boxed version of 2013 had a CD that said 2012 in the fine print. But after I installed it, it updated. i just reinstalled Windows and all of my software, and the version of Norton's that I already had installed and used on the new hard drive was 2014, even though I bought 2013. They want to keep you as up to date as possible to keep you as safe as possible.
question, is this anti-virus like a lifetime supply of protection or just for a year. i'm at work so i cant research it fully right now. thanks.
One year, if you want 2, go with bitdefender on newegg right now or occasionally the avg that is floating around. The only thing that offer lifetime is malwarebyte, as far as security software is concerned.
In for one. I haven't paid for this in years since it has always been FAR but alas I guess it's time. I've used Norton for years and Norton 360 for the past 2 or 3 years. I like the password vault which hasn't performed as well in this current years version. Hope it's better in 2014 and hope it doesn't lose my current passwords with the new load, I think it did lose them when I loaded last year.
