Anything else going on with this one? that V.me discount is over right?

On an unrelated note -- I realize how spoiled I am with Amazon whenever I'm about to buy elsewhere! Expected delivery a week, and I pay! Bah!

Yes, however, Intel doesn't really go for outright speed on their drives. They focus on ridiculously high reliability. I'm willing to bet Intel makes the most reliable SSD's on the market today.

true, but samsung is the best medium between reliability and performance. excellent performance, and rarely unreliable.

For people on the fence, I suggest you wait for another samsung ssd deal.

You can't go wrong with either intel or samsung but the way I see it is that the extra performance difference between Samsung and Intel may not be visible in daily usage and if the higher reliability of intel is the difference between a dead SSD and a living one, I would go for intel. Also visible in the warranty terms. Intel is 5 years, Samsung is 3 years.

As I said before, you can't go wrong with either of them. The way I see it:
If there is a slick deal for [Intel/Samsung] SSD, buy it [if needed laugh out loud]

Does anybody know why when I click on the top link to this deal I get
"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at click.linksynergy.com."
Chrome gives me a similar non responsive page.
thanks

of course, after i bought the 180gb version yesterday at $119.99 (- $30 amex offer), they dropped the price on the 240gb version, only $10 more expensive... oh well, at least i don't have to deal with rebate.
