How do I change the default audio output device on an iPhone

Pec 1,204 358 December 8, 2013 at 04:06 PM
On my iPhone with iOS7 the audio output keeps defaulting to my bluetooth devices. Any time my bluetooth headphones, car(ford sync),or Vizio soundbar are powered on, the audio changes to one of them from the internal speaker. I want the audio output to always default to the internal speaker, or selectively be in order of Sync -> standard speaker -> headphones -> soundbar.

Is this possible? I'm afraid this is yet another iOS feature missing that was available on my Windows phone over 6 years ago...

Perhaps your bluetooth is turned on on the iphone. Have you tried turning off the bluetooth?

Yes it is on and I want to leave it on but have audio output default to the internal speaker even if those devices are synced.
