I was browsing the Sony store website and saw their offer on their visa sony card issued by capital one. Similar deal to the Chase Freedom but the bonus point categories aren't as great as the Freedom card. Link is

500 can be spend ANYWHERE for 200 dollar credit
the $200 credit is NOT sony points of course because it is a credit statement.

You can use the card immediately if you use it to buy things on the sony site. You only have ONE hour to use it before they remove it off for security purposes.

Can you do this offer if you already have a Sony card? Can you apply for a second one without them linking the two?

I signed up for two sony cards before capital one bought them out. Some of the worst cards ever after capital one took over. One time I made a mistake and underpaid my bill by like a dollar. They seriously hounded me about being delinquent. I received multiple calls on the same day. And when I realized what I did and said I will take care of that dollar I owe you guys, they continued to hound me later that day. It felt like I was being contacted by collections. And I had that account for years and had never paid late mind you. The way they handled that was ridiculous.

There are many credit card offers with free sign up perks. I would pass on this garbage.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Purchases: 0% introductory APR through your 10/2014 billing period. Plus bonus for me. After that 13%. Approved

I have a question...I read through the terms and it says that they may charge a fee for the card even if it's not used. Does this card have a monthly or annual fee?
