Thread Details

Hi all,
Does Verizon Wireless offer any customer retention or customer loyalty discounts? Has anyone had recent experience trying to negotiate with VZW? I'd like to renew with them, but I'm not sure whether they will offer any discounts from the plan available online.

Thanks in advance.

They had one a while back. I ended up with unlimited talk, text and 2 GB of data for $60 per month.

"This whole.. I have XX company so my pee pee is 2" longer talk is hilarious. Who cares what company is cheapest, best, etc. Pick the company and plan you want and keep it to yourself."
tennis8363 is correct, the $60 per month seems to be the going promotion:

Requires a 1-year contract (does not change your upgrade date... unless you upgrade...)

Before you lock yourself into another two year contract, have you considered the non-contract carriers? Oftentimes you can get better service for less money going that route - and you're not handcuffed to a long-term contract. Cell phone coverage costs are on a steady march downward. It may not make sense to lock yourself into a long-term contract where your cost will remain high and steady while the rest of the marketplace is getting cheaper and cheaper by the month.

that 60$ a month deal is pretty sweet in my opinion...

I just got over $350 in credits with AT&T Wireless for upgrading a few lines that were out of contract...I had to go through thier retention dept.

maybe you can use this to your advantage...if you are out of contract, tell verizon that ATT is giving this promotion and if they dont match it then you will switch to AT&T
