Ebay has the refurbished LG Optimus Net 10 Android smartphone for $9.99.

Shipping is free and seller seems to be pretty reputable (top rated)

Probably the most basic, bare bones android phone you can find, but for only $10, how can you go wrong to use as an mp3 player at the gym, media remote, youtube in the bathroom while pooping.

Same phone that net10 was selling for $19.99 a few months ago that was a FP deal

Note: Cant unlock to use with any other provider, its CDMA net 10 locked phone so it wont work on tmoible/at&t or even sprint on Verizon

Specs: 800 Mhz Processor, 3.2" 480x320 Touchscreen, Android 2.3 OS, 3.2 MP Auto-focus Camera, Bluetooth/3G/Wi-Fi, 4GB microSD, etc.

I believe you can. If you search for "Optimus Net CM10", it looks like lots of people have done it.
I dont think so? ebay says this is the L45C, not the P690

I signed up Slickdeals to save some bucks, and at the end of year noticed I have spent $200 for stuff which I really don't need.
I'm going to buy this one....

I bought my 10 year old an ipod 4 last Christmas and within 7 months he had lost it. So for his birthday in August I gave him one of these for 20 bucks and it was a great move. I don't care if he loses it, steps on it, throws it in the street. For 20 bucks (or 10 bucks) it's a great kid "ipod". You don't need to activate it on Net 10, just use it in WiFi like you would any other wifi device.

Might be cool to stream music over WiFi in the garage or basement. Beater mp3 player.
I use it as a Pandora streamer for the garage; Works great.

There are some offline GPS apps like CoPilot etc. Just need to do the initial download on WiFi.

just a quick newbie question. Where should I place the OBD2 bluetooth adapter on the vehicle? Where does the adapter get the power?
you simply plug the adapter into your car's OBD2 connector [imgur.com] and thats it. Its usually found around the driver side foot area. It gets power from the car.
