Got all the services dumbed down over the phone in 15 minutes without much fuss. The service is pretty slow, and has terrible indoor reception. However, since I mostly use it for in the car anyway, it doesn't matter so much to me.

I am fairly annoyed about the rounding up megabytes every 15 minutes. To me this is very underhanded and makes me dislike FreedomPop a lot more than I would have otherwise. Now if I use it around my smartphone which checks e-mail periodically, i'll end up using 4 megs of data each hour because of it. So promising me 500mb (or 400, whatever) each month is pretty much a lie, because that's not what I'm getting.

Just called. No wait, miraculously. 6 minutes from start to finish.

Asked for my email address to find the account. Cancelled premium, confirmed 500mb free and no auto top up.

I'd suggest calling today.
Called 6 times today.

Was on hold for 1 hour then went to voice mail asking me to leave a message.

Left my number twice. Been over 5 hours, no return call yet.

left message- no return call back today- I only have 2 days left- what if I down grade to a lower plan at least to get me to the next cycle for cheaper?? Will it automatically pay or wait untill the current plan is due??

Also- How come I only get 50MB free service? I keep adding friends but no luck in increasing that number?? Anyone.>

Just received mine.

Disabled auto top up, which seems to be keeping.

I emailed customer service asking them to disable FreedomPop Premier.

When I created my account, I chose the free 500mb plan instead of the 2gb or 4gb one. Hopefully that will be enough? When I emailed customer service, I asked to confirm that.

I may have to call, but assume I'll hear back via email if that's the case.

Besides adding my info and inviting via the Freedom Friends, is there anything else anyone suggests for setting my FreedomPop up?

Thanks!

Did you get a response on how to disable the FreedomPop Premier? I can;t seem to find the option to do it on the account page.

Could anyone tell me the phone number of their customer service? I could not find one and the "call an agent" link on the website does not work. I am still having trouble with activating the device. Thanks.
I can help you guys out if you'd like to PM me your account emails.

Just called. Half an hour on hold. Last message said wait was over 10 minutes.

If FreedomPop is reading, it would be very helpful to cancel premier via webform/email. If you have thousands or more people all calling in to cancel, it worsens your wait times and reputation.

Apologies for the inconvenience, guys. We've been experiencing exceptionally high call volumes lately and have been short staffed because of the holidays. I can help you out through here if you'd like to PM me.

We calculate data down to the byte and only charge for actual services rendered. We do roundup data when displaying for our users just for the convenience and ease of viewing.

The free service is 500MB. You can earn an additional 500MB from connecting with other users as long as their accounts are active. Please pm me your email if you need help with your account.

Thanks for the tip! I was also able to downgrade my plan after sending a PM to FreedomPop. Definitely easier than waiting for hours on hold.

Thank you also to FreedomPop for the quick response Smilie

FreedomPOP-I sent you a PM already but I actually got a callback.

I see my account was downgraded to the free 500 MB but FreedomPop Premier still shows. Could you please make sure it's removed?

Thank you.
