Is this VESA compatible??

I also see reviews. They don't look pretty... I'm not really expecting much for 80 dollars but if it makes way too much difference to my 120 dollar monitor then....

Just to clarify:

The Dell and Asus deals are for monitors NOT HDTVs as they do not have tuners. You'd need to use a computer and get a USB tv tuner to use it as a TV. Also - there's no speakers on them (you could buy one but, again, it'll add to the cost like the additional tuner).

Also - the monitors don't come with antenna/cable-in port (for your coaxial cable) which some of you may need to view your tv channels.
To add or clarify, I believe this Insignia monitor is not a TV either.

If you're not into competitive gaming, mostly FPS, then it'll be fine. RPGs e.g. FF XIV performance will hardly be affected.

Thanks for posting, I wasn't aware of the ASUS deal. I think I might go with the ASUS deal, they make good monitors, and their warranty is three years versus the one year on the Insignia.

Insignia is great for people who don't want to deal with MIR though, and I have heard that TD rebates are a pain in the ass.

already had the K400 but got the BB Lumia 520 for $49 along with this LED monitor. Local pickup and returns at BB beat even amazon.
