Deal Details

Ok, You get a SIM CARD consisting of 512mb of 4G nationwide data ( AT&T ) for 99 Cents instead of the normal cost of $9.99
They say the normal price is $9.99 although it appears you get 1gb for $9.99 if you pay the full price, not the reduced amount of 512mb but hey its a dollar and it includes the stamp to get it to you!

This is more of a deal where you can get 512mb to use as a one off and then throw the sim away!

Chat confirmed that this can be used in an unlocked gsm phone, also apparently there is no expiration on when you need to activate the sim. Perfect if you go somewhere where you need AT&T coverage and 512mb of data for voip or the internet!

ONE PER ADDRESS - Appears to be valid for 30 days after you activate it

Ordered the sim card but can't find any details about the order. I just see that my card was charged 99 cents on 12/31.

Got the sim card today.

What a tease.. I clicked on the link thinking it would still work since the banner still shows 99 cents, but the banner is unclickable.

1gb for $10 for 30 days seems pretty reasonable compared to what the big 4 are charging for ipad data plans. can't beat tmobile's free 200mb/month though! no hassles

Red Pocket uses AT&T for its GSM talk/text/data plans but they use T-Mobile for their GSM data-only plans. It is throttled to 2G speeds when you reach the cap.
Thank you! I was going crazy trying to get data at my parents place where there is only At&t coverage, kept saying emergency calls only no matter what APN I entered. But at home where I have Tmobile coverage it works fine. Thought this data sim was on At&t, oh well it was only 99 cents.

Yupe, me neither.
I did chat with them a couple of times, one of them apologized because of their overwhelming orders, and told me that my orders have been shipped on Jan 5 (? it's a Sun!) and to contact them again if not received in 10 business days.
I waited until last Fri (1/17) and still not receive them, so instead of contacting them again, I decided to dispute it on my Paypal as well as email their customer service to cancel and to refund my payment.
It's definitely not worth our time for just a 99 cents purchase. wave

For anyone still waiting, ask them on online chat or their Facebook wall or private message for a status update for your order. If they are unable to give you any useful information, then file a complaint with the BBB. They care about their BBB rating, and a Red Pocket manager will usually reply to you within a few business days.

The manager will probably send the SIM overnight or priority mail and may include an additional 512 MB of free data for the trouble. No guarantees, but I know it worked for someone else.

I did not go the BBB route. My order from December 19 arrived in the mail already. The SIM works great. It was the regular sized SIM. I don't know if the nano or micro SIMs cards are still on backorder.

After I wrote to complain they reshipped my order as well. It came Priority Mail a few days ago. If you haven't gotten your order yet you should write them. A lot of their product seems to have disappeared on its way to consumers.

I finally received mine today after having to file a PayPal claim and contacting them twice through Facebook. So it took about two and a half months for a 99 cent sim card. Not happy.

I can't activate the SIM card through any route. Phoned Red Pocket customer service, they dropped the call 3 times in the middle of the conversation. I want my $.99 back!
