BEFORE You Post a Coupon Code...

FIRST check this post to make sure the code isn't already listed here. Also, please note that Office Depot codes are never one-time use, no matter what the restrictions say. They are limited to one use per account, but can be used on a billion different accounts.

Important Things to Note

• Dollar- and percent-off coupons (online or in-store--doesn't matter) are rarely valid on "technology" items, so please do not request a coupon for the latest printer or digital camera you have your eye on.
• In addition to the Office Depot Rewards™ [officedepotrewards.com] program, you can use a third-party site for additional cash back, points, or even airline miles & hotel points. Click here [evreward.com] for an up-to-date list.

THANK YOU ALL for your contributions!

Promo SKU Prefixes

157-###-###

Usage: Try using the 9-digit promo SKU by adding 3 extra digits in front of the standard 6-digit SKU.

Why: Various catalogs have advertised discounts listed. (Often either a discounted price or "buy more and save" bulk purchase discount.) Due to the number of discounts listed (too many to post), you're encouraged to try different promo SKUs listed to determine if any savings are available. A few things to note:
(1) Every prefix is unique from others--as far as which items they work with.
(2) No prefix works on all items, so you have to try different ones to get the best deal.
(3) Some items don't change in price no matter what prefix you use.
(4) Some items actually increase in price. Watch out for this.

When You Have a New Coupon Code...
... edit the wikipost and add it under the appropriate heading.

~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~

Dollar- and percent-off coupons (online or in-store--doesn't matter) are never usually not valid on "technology" items. (Very rarely, usually less than a half dozen times per year, OD will release coupons valid for technology items, excluding services and computers. These are almost always in-store only coupons that appear in the flyer, and very rarely will one arrive in the mail.) OD will occasionally issue coupons for specific tech items (e.g., Maxell recordable media or QuickBooks software) which are usually limited to in-store use but sometimes work online as well. If you are shopping in-store for a tech item, then you may be able to use a competitor's coupon since it once was part of OD's corporate current policy [archive.org] does not directly address acceptance of competitors' coupons.
Quote from earlier version of Office Depot's Low Price Guarantee [archive.org] policy :
Does Office Depot accept coupons from Competitors?
Yes. Coupons are accepted in-store only. Acceptance of coupons from the Web-Competitors is subject
to the terms and conditions listed on the coupon. Office Depot does not accept Competitor coupons for
free/promotional or non-identical products.

Which companies' prices do we match?
The qualifying web competitors ("Web Competitors") are: Staples.com, OfficeMax.com, BestBuy.com,
Reliable.com, Quill.com, Sears.com, Target.com, KMart.com, Costco.com, and SamsClub.com.
Notes:
  1. Stores may only match/accept coupons from local competitors.
  2. Printable coupons are not valid for purchases made in Office Depot liquidation or clearance stores.
  3. Unless noted otherwise below, printable coupons and online codes exclude technology items.

To the best of my knowledge, these have not been available for a long time now.

The coupons from the SurPrize promo work on tech items.
I just received (today) 2 coupons that work on select technology products - hopefully most of you will receive them as well.

Thanks for the HU. Do they work on software? I tend to equate tech with software when it comes to OD because that it is pretty much what I buy when there are no FARew promotions.

The coupons were in the OD mailer titled "You're worth celebrating! Customer Appreciation Event December 11-15th"

The coupons state "Save now on printers, hard drives, shredders, in/toner (including HP), paper, office supplies furniture and more.

Will post later if the code works on software.

Thanks! I did receive the mailer, but my coupons appear to be different. $10/$50 and $15/$75 are valid on ink/toner (including HP), paper, office supplies, furniture & CPD servives), but not valid on tech and software products.

My other coupons are for ink, toner, paper ream cases, furniture, iPhone dock, CPD and H&R Block Premium. Ah well!

No, those are unique. I have 20+ codes and all of them are $10 off $20. Not lucky I guess.

I have 3 coupons to trade: 2 x $10 off $20 coupons and 1 x $15 off $75 coupon (exp 12/10/2012).

I want to get equivalent for Staples or Officemax.

Another possibility are giftcards for Amazon, BestBuy, Staples, Officemax.

Hit me up!

Which one specifically would you like? They are all 14-digit codes, and according to xlnc, may be unique. There is no specific mention of copy paper, but the three that could work for you are $10/$50, $15/$75 and 10% off any 5-ream paper case. The first 2 are easily available in the wiki of this thread as well. If you are still interested, please let me know and I'll send you the online/phone code.

interested in any coupons for 10 ream boxes...perhaps as with all office depot coupons they are generic and not client specific...I will check wiki as well as if there are box specific coupons that would be appreciated

From the 11/27 ROP ad:

25% OFF your qualifying Copy & Print Depot™ purchase including UPS® shipping [shoplocal.com]
Offer expires 12/15/12 11:59 PM ET. Excludes U.S. Postal Service® and postage stamps. Maximum discount of $500: Coupon Code 22959018
Was able to use this coupon on a USPS shipment at OD on Monday, despite the stated exclusion. The cashier entered the coupon code and the POS system applied the discount, no override required.

Sad news.

I went in with my first class parcels and OD had updated shipping software and the charge is now full retail (not commercial base like we were getting) for first class parcels.

3 oz used to be $1.33 and now it's $1.95.

13 oz used to be $2.97 and now it's $3.65.

If OD stops giving me coupons, I might have to start bringing first class parcels into the post office after the rates increase since del confirmation will be included and I can use some of the gobs of postage I have.

eBay/PayPal charges $1.64 for 3 oz with delivery confirmation at the commercial base rate. No idea for 13 oz. In any case, a couple of years ago, I read about a way to print postage from within PayPal even if you have not sold on eBay and other sites that accept PP. Look for the method online. As far as I recall, it involved using a PP command in the URL after you log in. It took you right to the screen where you can input details or sender and recipient.

P.S.: Using PP requires you to own a scale. You can then print your own postage using shipping labels.
