I know there are already posts in the past on this deal and people saying it's expired and other's saying that it works. I was 1 of those it wasn't working for. But I tried using my mom's Cricket cell phone that's running Android and it worked just fine. Just don't forget to turn off auto renewal. Saw other people suggesting at FatWallet to use a Mobile Device and it worked. My subscription now expires on 2/1/2014.

For those without a mobile device. Someone did mention they used Opera Mobile Emulator and it worked for them. I was going to try that but ended up just using my mom's phone.

Perfect! My live actually ran out today! I didnt see the auto renew button so that maybe annoying
you might want to renew tomorrow or the day after. This way you'll get 3 free games instead of two :-) I don't think this will go away anywhere soon.

Dumb question - when you get the two free games per month (games are roughly 7-9 GB), and approach filling up your HD, can you delete the games, and get them back, or do you need to repurchase? With a 250GB HD, I'd imagine it would fill up quickly.

It's strange, but I'm not even receiving a "promotion is expired" message. I've tried two different PCs and a tablet but all I end up with is an Xbox Live subscription screen giving me an option of $9.99 per month or $59.99 for a year. What gives?!?

Woo hoo! Had my iPad right next to me, quickly jumped back on the forum, clicked the click, found the free month, submitted, and cancelled automatic renewal. Good until 2/1/2014.

Thanks, OP! TU and repped.

Worked on Safari on my iPad 3rd Gen. Didn't try phone though, but Safari on iPhone is usually weird(er).

It's free for Xbox Live Gold members. Today's the last day to redeem it for free.

Question: With the new "live.com" format, the cancel auto renewal doesn't show for me. How can you turn off auto renewal on xboxlive.com? Thx!

Same here, should I go on and enter my payment information or it's expired already?
