Is it good for someone with rental property?
You'd want Premier.

There are lots of things that are not good deals (especially canned goods), but there are several that are, one of the foremost being diapers and wipes. If you are constantly watching for deals elsewhere for them, then it's not such an advantage, but I've found that prices are usually better at a warehouse store than Amazon Mom or other competitors.
I will have to check into that, but last time i was a member at BJ the diapers and wipes I was definitely getting cheaper on Amazon. There is always coupons floating around on Amazon also on these things.

wish i had refunds coming. if i could get 100,000 of tax refund, i could get $10000 worth of amazon gift card!!!
If someone is getting a refund of $100k, they definitely need an accountant that doesn't have a U. of Phoenix e-degree.

I have no experience with BJ's, but both Costco and Sam's house brands were cheaper than the Amazon Mom offerings. With Amazon Mom, you also have to keep switching diaper & wipe brands to get the best deals, which can create rashes and such.

quick question if i buy this and do mine and my gf taxes do we both get a bonus? or do i need to buy a copy for each of us?
The Amazon listing says "Includes 5 Free Federal E-Files". That's a good reason to buy the installable software. In recent years I had used the online version, but I think with that one you are just buying the rights to use it for only one return.

I sold stocks this year, so TT is saying I need the Premier version, which is $59.99 [amazon.com] on Amazon. Currently https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/ says it's $74.99 $49.99 but there's no guarantee it will still be that price when I file.

Last year I used $200 of my refund to get $220 in Amazon GCs.

I have been going back and forth between TurboTax and H&R Block for the past couple of years. I normally get different results within a couple of hundred dollars.

I also normally use the mac version but that one is currently $10 and doesn't have the 10% offer. Guess I will give this a try.

Is this better as good or the same as quickbooks?

Is this really a good deal? Gift card is tempting.
Last year I bought Premier fed and efile for $59.99 ( right now it is $89.99 but i can wait) . I thought I've paid additional $9.99 for state e-file but not sure. !!

Is this really fire worthy deal? You have to buy Amazon gift card in order to get the 10% of that amount extra. If your tax return is $1000, is everyone really going to buy that much of Amazon gift card? At $5000, buy $5000 worth Amazon gift card?

*** I have the same offer from an email last week, and it was for filing via their online website, no need to purchase software through Amazon. Not sure if it was a targeted email or not. Check your spam if you don't want to go with this Amazon purchase.

I bet they will give you the 10% offer at the end of filing if you use their website, or regardless of where you bought the software.
TurboTax has been advertising this for nearly a month via emails. They may cancel it due to popularity though.

Thanks for the heads up, makes it an even better deal. Not sure I'd ever use Quicken but for free I'll take it!
