Yea, but they said the same when they started making their shoes smaller, which they still deny doing. I've worn New Balance shoes for decades and have recently had to size up one-half, even though I don't have to with any other brands.

The boots may run larger, but if you don't know how NB shoes fit, I'd highly recommend sizing up one-half.

I have noticed that too - recently I have had to 1/2 size up with New Balance. they are the only shoes I wear. I thought my feet were getting bigger at 48 years old OMG

I'm 45 and falling arches have caused my feet to grow longer, but New Balance shoes are definitely getting smaller. I've worn the 574 for 2 decades and have had to change sizes a couple of times because my feet were growing, but this model began shrinking a few years ago, until I eventually had to size up one-half.

They began using a new manufacturing process 3-4 years ago and the shoes produced with it were noticeably smaller, although my normal size still fit. I purchased 4 pairs of this shoe last year, and while the first 3 pairs fit, the 4th did not. So, I contacted New Balance and had them replaced with a slightly different 574 model, because the previous 3 pairs I'd purchased had worked fine. After trying 3 different shoes, I eventually just sized up and that worked great. Since then, I've sized up with other New Balance models, such as the MT1010, and they've all fit well. Since I haven't had to size up with other brands, and my older New Balance shoes all still fit great, I have good reason to believe that New Balance shoes are smaller today, even though they say they're not.

New Balance just isn't what it used to be and a lot of the hype over their shoes is undeserved. I still like them, but there's nothing special about their shoes, as some seem to think.
