Fantastic! I wanted the download version of Deluxe since you no longer get the forms for investments and business in the online and was waiting to buy using the StateFarm link for $20, but now I got it for free!
*Don't be persuaded by the " T Rowe Price customers only" in the title. Even the fw posting, dated Jan/03/2014, is technically only for State Farm Insurance customers.
In spirit of the ongoing State Farm Insurance link that has been floating around since 2008 (as evident *fw link removed* here), I thought I would up the ante and provide a link to receive TurboTax 2013 Deluxe for free.
TurboTax provides these "special" links for their affiliates, one of which is State Farm Insurance. Another is T.Rowe Price. TT has thousands, upon thousands, of affiliate links, and it is my assumption that it is easier, and probably more cost effective, to simply allow these links to roll over from year to year, rather than updating them. That is how the SFI link is still active after all the years. Okay, so why did I mention T.Rowe Price? Just like SFI, TRP is also an affiliate of TT, and has their own link(s) which contain special pricing. One of those links that happens to be floating around on the World Wide Web, offers a great deal on Download Deluxe, but not so great deals on Premier, H&B and Business, unless you want to file online with TT using Premier which in that case is FREE or H&B for $54.99.
So, how great of a deal on a downloaded version of Deluxe? How about free.
Download Pricing (Federal & State): *Inlcudes free Federal e-file. State e-file additional.
Basic - Free (State Download Additional)
Deluxe - Free
Premier - $74.99
Home & Business - $79.99
Business - $129.99 (State Download Additional)
Online Filing Pricing (Federal & State): *Includes free federal and state e-file.
Basic - Free
Deluxe - Free
Premier - Free
Home & Business - $54.99
Business - N/A
I am going to guess that once TT gets hit with people connecting through the following link, they might delete the link or update the pricing. So get it while it's hot!
I can confirm that Deluxe downloaded and installed without any issues. I can also confirm that state downloaded as well, after the initial installation of Deluxe, and navigating to the State tab in the program. Enjoy.

This comment confuses me though...
Try it for Free/Pay when you file: Price increase expected on 03/22/14 unless you've received a valid special discount offer—in which case comparison is based on your specified discount, which may expire before 03/22/14 (see your discount offer details for more info). Actual prices for our online products are determined at the time of print or efile and are subject to change without notice.
I don't get this. It says right in the * small print that this is free to download and use to fill out your taxes but you'll be charged when you go to actually file the forms? How is this not just a free to try, pay to use deal?
Damnit. Just bought it from Amazon. Have to see if I can sell it since it already shipped.
Edit: On second thought, I'm wondering what the catch is here. It clearly says "Try It For Free/Pay When You File" and conveniently doesn't tell you what you'll be paying at the time of filing. Think I'll hold on to my copy for now.
1. Go through the link, choose the download option, and choose "Buy Now" under the Deluxe version.
2. On the next page, select PC or Mac version, then "Buy Now" - and finish the purchase process. It will cost you nothing and you won't have to put in a credit card.
3. You will receive an e-mail confirmation.
4. You can click "Download" right from the confirmation page, or you can go to the "Download" link in the e-mail confirmation to download it.
5. Install it.
6. If you want to purchase the other version (PC or Mac), just go through the process again.
Immediately after I installed, I downloaded a state version for free.
The download area allows you to return for 3 years and download it again.
