Deal Details

These speakers aren't for everyone but for a fantastic brand, compact system its a pretty solid deal. $200 cheaper than Best Buy.

They use omnipolar technology and are essentially the newest version of the Mirage Nanosats (Klipsch/Mirage/Jamo all same company).

Not a ton of reviews but the ones out there are solid and these will definitely work great for some and look great in any area.

Also add the Jamo SUB210 8" subwoofer for $99 to complete the 5.1 setup. This sub has been at $99 before, but still a solid addition to the speakers

Thanks OP! Picked up one after a PM from BB. They have this setup on Magnolia, the guy was surprised when I asked to listen to this set! Looks like not many ask for this at the 499 price tag. But these are really tiny, once he threw in a sub, it sounded much better. Still waiting to pick up a good receiver. The S35 is 699, and felt much heavier than this, but the difference in sound did not seem much (in a short demo I heard). That has a distinct center whereas for S25 all the 5 speakers are same. Will put in a review once I am able to hook this up with a receiver.

How do you guys hide the wires? I am debating between getting this or a wireless set.

What's the difference between the OP's and this:

I mean obviously these are white, but the regular price is 299 and the image looks like two of the five speakers are greyed out. Is this a white version of L,R,C only?

These are same, but in white. That greed out does not mean anything, some designer skills probably. You can see the same at BB also in white - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/360-s...ab=reviews. The price is still reduced, s you can see the limit of 1 and same validity date range. I think just some price entry thing, such that the strikethrough does not show.

Yes wires cannot be hidden that easily. Wireless will have some sound quality compromise, but then unless you are doing the studio type floor speakers and some really pro stuff it should not matter much. It's a personal choice more than anything.

If you have just basic handyman skills, you can use wall plates... It gives them a very clean look.

Is there anyone in the south Florida area that only need two or 3 satellite speakers and we could split the cost fairly

Thanks, but how to compare to Energy 5.1 Take Classic Home Theater System?

Anyone else have any input on these speakers? I can not really have floorstand speakers in my house, so I am looking for something smaller. I was thinking these or maybe the Klipsch HD300 5.1... Suggestions? Mostly will be used for movies and top 40 music.

The "greyed out" is just the speaker grille, you can put it on if you want to prevent dust from entering or keep it off for different aesthetics. But the white set is still 5 speakers and is on sale as well.

All subjective and I don't have these Jamo's yet as they are shipping but based on my research for small speakers, the Jamo's likely aren't as powerful but are considered a higher end brand (although energy/klipsch/jamo/mirage are now the same company).

They also utilize omnipolar technology to provide "360 degrees" of sound, which likely makes up for the smaller size. And Jamo has a good rep of not inflating their specs so take that for what you will.

The best comparison to these would be the Mirage Nanosats as these are essentially the upgraded versions. Lots of stuff on amazon and avsforum about the nanosats

Depends on your budget and setup/room size, Klipsch is still a great brand but the HD300 is their bare bones, basic set. It will suffice but for $200 or less, its really a budget system. I considered them but when this came up, I didnt even hesitate between the 2 based on my previous positive experience with Jamo speakers.

Energy Takes or even the Martin Logan MLT-2 (which have been as low as $150) are likely better than the Klipsch HD300 but I'm going to take my chances with Jamo. If they aren't great, back they go but I'm optomistic!

Glad you got in on this deal and got a chance to listen to them. I'm buying them blind as they are not sold anywhere near where I live. So I'm going on the Jamo reputation, specs, limited reviews and my experience with Jamo speakers in the past.

Also great to hear the S35's didnt sound much different, I was hoping they were equivalent for the deals sake.

Looking forward to your review!
