I have the hardcase version and it's bulletproof. I've traveled over 100k miles on various airlines through many airports and it's does show signs of wear but It won't die.

Not sure about this particular one, but I have had a 30" Ricardo B.H. for 10 years and it's the toughest mutha I've ever seen. And I travel regularly too. OMG Also, mine can stuff virtually the whole house in its belly. Big Grin The only negative thing about mine is that it weighs almost 20lbs empty. EEK!

i purchased 3 hard-side carry-on spinners from costco. i have yet to use mine, but the one i gave my brother, the wheel broke off on his first trip. the wheels are like office chair wheels, where you'd press them in. i couldn't press it in; i think the clip comes off and you have to slide a bar to lock the wheel in.

cliffnotes: hard-side carry-on spinner wheel fell off on first use
