I ordered about 20 of these from different Washington Homedepots. It's 56% off and full price is 26.97 in California. I've update all my recessed lighting so hopefully I start seeing savings (going down from 65W to 12W). The product is also very well reviewed (5 stars).

You have to follow the steps below to get it shipped to a different location/state:
  1. Link http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-65W..._nbr=4716#
  2. Set your home location to Silverdale #4716 98383
  3. Add quantity to cart and select shipping ($49 minimum to get free shipping)
  4. Check out with paypal

If they can't do shipping, try looking at different Homedepots in Washington state, and set that as your Home store. Your set Home store seems to dictate your shipped product price Smilie.

Thanks OP. I just ordered 22 for my house. I hope the 2850K isn't noticeable from the 2700K.

Don't forget cashback from shopdiscover 5%.

But that's all CFLs are good for, throwing away! Seriously, I don't get much more life out of them than typical incandescent bulbs. I would say this isn't a super hot deal, but decent since these style bulbs ("BR" ones which look nice in recess lights) don't go on sale much. Personally I would go for the standard sized/shaped bulbs for recess lights since you can't really see them anyway (especially when they're on) because they often can be had cheaper.

I haven't tried these exact ones out, but have a handful of GE LED bulbs around the house and they seem to be good. Much brighter than stated (not typical for LED bulbs), was surprise how cool they stay, and the color temperatures are fairly neutral. They've had them on sale at Walmart and I've been slowing getting various ones for the house (region specific deal in my area just like this deal).

Ditto. LEDs are generally still way too expensive to replace cfl BR30's and BR40's with. I would love to switch, but I am not going to spend $300+ to do it.
