Scored one in Cumming, GA. Thanks OP.
I wonder if you can put something that's frozen into this little bugger... I doubt it but that would be way cool if that worked out.

Wow. That comment below nailed it on the head... bong water issues last night when I commented because I didn't even realize it was oilless.

Don't cook anything frozen in these. I think it said that on the manual.
These things are great. I've only had mine briefly, but the chicken and the pork roasts I've made have been awesome. So much easier that a traditional turkey fryer and much cheaper without the oil.

since this is oilless, is this kinda like a baker/broiler more so than a fryer?

They've been at this price for a few days. I didn't post it and was "hoping" no one else would post it, because I was hoping they would stay in the stores long enough to go to a further price reduction. Whenever the Big Easy gets posted here, folks talk about how they got theirs in prior year close-outs for $25 and what not.

Oh well, guess I better go get one of the only 5 left in my entire surrounding area, at $59. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Not as far as the taste goes. Inject some nice cajun marinade and rub some spices on it and it will beat any fried turkey. The only bad thing is I have been appointed family turkey cooker for the past four years. This is the best cooking purchase I have ever made.

this thing rocks, I get massive compliments on how juicy my turkey is. They come out very crispy, too, like it was really fried.

Frees up the oven, too, for those holidays when you're cooking other stuff for the meal.

When I was around 22 I had a great idea bulb and tried frying frozen chicken wings on my stove with really hot oil. I don't know if it was because they were frozen or if the oil was just too hot but I almost burned myself with flying hot oil and my house. Whee I don't think it's a good idea
maybe your bong water fell in the oil

I absolutely love my big easy. I cooked a 9 pound prime rib roast in mine for christmas. The crust that formed on the meat was out of this world. Turkeys and chickens come out crispy, juicy and perfectly cooked every time. You cannot go wrong with one of these.
