Lowes [lowes.com] in New Jersey has Greenlite LED Dimmable 3000K 11w BR30 flood light bulbs as part of New Jersey's Clean Energy Program for $8.98

Retail Price for these bulbs is $29.99 and the the cheapest if found them on Amazon was $22.00

I've been trolling SlickDeals and found nothing in my area for cheap LED flood lights except for this. I thought this was a slick deal because these LEDs are 1/3 the price of retail.

I purchased 14 of these to replace all the flood lights in my living room, dining room and foyer.

Ionizer says, buy 6 at a time and use the $10 off $50 for maximum savings:

I am still running traditional incandescent bulbs but they are slowly burning out on me. I have been rotating them around the house and holding out until the LED's become reasonable. I refuse to go CFL, because CFL sucks balls. Anyways, $9 for 1 bulb isn't reasonable, I need about 30 bulbs to do them all. That's too much money. There any deals on these farkers in bulk? They should be selling as a 4-pack for $10 soon. What gives?

you will have spent more in electricity and heating/cooling costs for your existing bulbs than the cost of these bulbs and the expected lifetime

It's not like my bulbs are on all day long. They are on for a hour or 2 tops. Most don't turn on at all all day long. I find that cost analysis hard to believe. Let's cut the bullshit here and get down to whats important, finding LED canlight bulbs for like $10 a 4-pack.

wont find that for another year or two
and run the numbers yourself

at $9 a bulb, your wasting more energy now until the time you buy it for 4 pack for $10

if you had CFL, i would say, no, but if your using incandescent, absolutely

The Kelvin on this bulb isn't so bad. Originally i wanted Soft White too (2700K) but this 3000K is quite pleasant. It doesn't give off that bluish tint like a 5000K

just want to point out this is still almost 50% off costco's price for flood lamps. (unless costco has a new electrical incentive rebate out that i dont know of).

this deal is super underappreciated for nj residents.

just got a call from lowes b/c they wanted to be sure that i meant to order 24 of them "we keep getting orders of 6" hahahaha..

minor note, this uses 11w which seems a little higher than other led lights:

i.e.: 9.5 watts. May not seem like a big deal but 1.5 watts * 30 bulbs * 22.5yrs - probably adds up

3000k using 10w:
