don't know why these idiots keep adding DVI + DSUB ports to these cheap motherboards and not HDMI instead. Just seems plain stupid... even if you do convert DVI to HDMI, there's still audio to deal with.

Not a great board imho.
probably not.... but is there another for ~$10 you can find?? Smilie
Also, while it doesn't have the best rating on Newegg, if you look at the 1 star reviews they're pretty lame.

One person gave 1 star, claiming he had problems within a week (without mentioning what they were), but then went on to complain of MANY stupid things he should have known from the start like it doesn't have USB3 header or fan controller, or overclocking.
Another gave bad reviews because he received what he thinks was a used/returned product and was missing a jumper and had other issues with USB ports.
Yet another gave one star because claims it had poor instructions and he couldn't figure out the motherboard pins for front panel.
The fourth actually gave 1 star because he didn't get the bundle he ordered and had to return it.
Only 1 of the 4 motherboards reviews with 1 star really sound like there was anything wrong with the motherboard itself. Just stupidity for the most part.

Oh, and PS... we're only really saving about $20 on the board, as it's been (regularly?) ~$30 after rebate in the past.

Total Defense is Total Offense, I am still waiting for my rebate of 1st Sept. submission 2013. If a company plays games then it does not deserve to do business in America but in India or China.

It was deeper than race because I don't belong to any of the races which have ruled the world in last 600 years. It was more symbolic of the fact that India and China follow loose standard on customer service.

Too bad it's a 1150 mobo, CPUs are $$$$$$$
Really? Of course there are sales and exceptions here and there, but generally speaking, I have found Ivy Bridge and Haswell processors similarly priced, even though IB should have come down quite a bit since it is last gen.

How many times have you been to India or China? Or have many companies have you dealt with? I wonder you have never called an ATT customer care till now.

Just because it's IN India doesn't mean they have the same level of support as generally found in India. They're specially trained service centers geared towards the western market. Using them as an example of India as a whole is just silly.

Hey guys,
Total Defense Combo Rebate Details:
Limit 1 Per Household for Total Defense Combo Rebate (Offer #TD9-10123)
The registration form says "Offer Maximum: 6 claim(s) per household " but also "Limit One (1) rebate per qualifying rebate offer, per person, billing address, company, household and receipt/invoice/packing slip". There's also only one place to enter the activation code.

Is this an artifact of the system and you can only really do one, or could you pick up one of each bundle? I didn't realize the Newegg bundles overlapped, unlike Tiger Direct.

the G3220 has been posted many times @Frys

What is the cheapest CPU that can do in this board?

I hate mATX boards with a passion for some reason (lack of space = lack of air = lack of space for my shit to breathe), but this is too good an offer to pass up.

The least-expensive LGA1150 processor is the Celeron G1820, not Pentium G3220 that you're already thinking.

Nope, but I'd rather pay more for a board and be able to do dual video and all. This might work for a HTPC or something.

I only paid $35 for the Celeron G1820 from TigerDirect, so I beat by $15. They had a promotion going on by spending $100 and get $20 rebate back in mail. I purchased two for $45 each (I get free shipping with Innercircle), plus some random $10 item.

There will be more discounts on the Celeron G1820 very, very soon.

Stick Out Tongue you still paid more than $35... counting innercircle, and rebate also isn't available to most people, especially when you have to buy $100+ to get it on ~$50 CPUs, so no reason to count it either. Then again by my own logic, the G3220 is really ~$60 right now, not the $50 sale price it has been a few times in the past.

But a Celeron G1820 is available for purchase for $47.41 with free shipping right now, so $13 cheaper here.

Remember that a Celeron is always cheaper than Pentium. I'm confident there will be another $35 Celeron deal.
