This is something a very popular android app that is available for an extremely limited time. I get notified of free/sale apps a lot, most of which are shovel ware. In the end, certain deals just deserve to be called out Wink.

I like go launcher as far as the ui goes, but it's using a lot of cpu/memory and drains battery faster than default touchwiz or htc sense on my phones.

Drop GO (bloated, adware ridden and insane permissions from that company) and switch to Nova.
Don't look back.

I personally have been using Apex Launcher [google.com], but using Home Switcher / Manager allows me to play with Go Launcher (and other launchers) and not lose my default. Everyone has their own favorite one.

One thing to keep in mind with the APPSALES coupons, is that it is NOT tied to your google play account. If you uninstall the program, you will lose the access to the paid version. You will need to back it up with a program such as Helium to restore your paid version of the software.

I used Apex a year ago, it's fast and light, but it was glitchy on my phone. I'll try again.

I have been using Aviate. It's been a solid launcher, but I think it is invite only at this point. It is a definite alternative to traditional Android and IOS launchers. I haven't noticed any performance or battery issues with it...been running for about 4 months now.

If anyone wants to try it...PM me. I can send you an invite.

Home Switcher/Manager is a good suggestion.

Personally, I tried a number of launchers and settled on Action Launcher. The Pro version is one of the few paid apps on my phone.

My two favorite features are the Quickdrawer which is great for launching apps fast, and the Shutter feature which saves a ton of space while still giving you quick access to the apps' widgets as an overlay/pop-up.

Action Launcher Free [google.com]
Action Launcher Pro [google.com]

Aviate has been acquired by yahoo recently, so we'll see how that shapes up

Titanium Backup also works well...toss in foldersync if you want auto cloud sync to one or more services.
