I saw this at my local Costco yesterday with sales expiration date of 2/23/2014. Regular price $24.99 - $5 instant rebate = $19.99. I know that not all Costco's carry all items or sales that are not listed in the coupon book so YMMV. I live in Northern VA area. After doing some research, I believe these are 2nd generation eneloops which are better than the first gen. This was the black friday price.

It's says minimum 1900mAh, but I remember seeing people post they get well over 2100mAh charges on these and they hold their charge for a very long time. I believe they are the same batteries as these.

I don't think amazon price matched anything.

I own 3 of these Costco packs, and will tell you I'm averaging 2125 mAh - no less than 2010 and no higher than 2240

These are FANTASTIC and although I would recommend a better charger (La Crosse Technology BC-700 [amazon.com] is my better replacement), the one that comes with it works AOK!

Great price, even better product!

I wish they did not come with charger. I have 4 of them already but I use the LaCrosse mentioned above.

Yeah I hear ya, I have more than enough chargers. Smilie These are by far my favorite batteries - they really last a long time when not in use, unlike most rechargeables that wear out before you even use the device.

$19.99 is a decent price, sad that the pack with the charger is cheaper than buying them without the charger.

I bought 2 of these bundles from Costco in Northern California yesterday. Just the 8 AA and 4 AAA would have cost $32 from Amazon. The $19.99 Costco bundle is a pretty good deal. These are the 3rd generation Eneloop HR-3UTGB (AA) and HR-4UTGB (AAA) manufactured in Oct 2013. I didn't bother to run break-in with my Maha C9000 charger since it would have taken me 10 days to do all 16 AA and 8 AAA. I just charged them in my C9000 and they were done within 5-10 minutes (50 to 90 mah). So, they were almost fully charged when I got them.

I agree. I love these batteries. I was in need of a few packs but was waiting for the inevitable discount. I think the first few packs I bought years ago had 12 AA and 4 AAA or something like that. Then they had the pack that came with the storage containers and now these. I don't mind the chargers. Occasionally I'll use one or two when the LaCrosse is tied up.

That storage case offer was nice, I picked one of those up a few months ago - it also came with some D and C cell adapters (a great idea I haven't actually tried them yet though)

I haven't looked into it yet what is different about the 3rd generation - I have the 2nd.
