They do the Black Card memberships for $99 every year, but it's generally done at the end of the summer. As an aside, PF really sucks.

The $99/year deal is not for Black Card membership, at least not in my area.

It's no good if you want to do Olympic lifts but perfectly fine for someone like myself that needs a place to workout at 2AM and lives in E. nowhere.

I played Division I college football and can move weight but have come to the realization that there is very little need for that anymore once you hit your late 20's.

My workouts involve a lot of improvising but again I'm there to workout and not train. I know a lot of people are training for the bicep and tricep world series and because of that they need to be able to throw free weights around shake head but for people that just want to be healthy again it's fine.

Don't know why this was a thumbs down. Just back in stock online and I've been looking for something like this for a while. I just want to get a short term membership, so it works out perfectly. Thank you!

Fine print says must sign a membership agreement. I wonder what all that involves.

for any sort of weight training, PF does suck, but it is cheap as hell. Annoying atmosphere for anyone who actually shows up to the gym often (they don't like people who lift... at all) the whole gym is geared towards the sector that would prefer to have their pick of 150 of the lowest impact aerobic machines du jour.

Did I mention they were cheap? As in the cheapest gym you can join without signing up for a very scam-like membership plan? PF is normally $10 a month and there is no contract. (black card offers benefits I never see the use for really). If I recall their agreement wants you to cancel your membership by the 20th of the month before the new billing cycle, a few other weird things, some yearly membership fee (of $10 in addition to membership) only charged once a year around July or something which is odd but still cheaper than anywhere else. And depending on where you are, the hours are some of the best, mine is 24 hrs. I normally go at 1-2 AM and there is no one there but me and maybe one or two other nightowls.

I don't like their attitude towards people who like lifting and going to gyms. But I am also broke so the money aspect is the more important part. Just my 2 cents.

Anyone know what the "must sign membership agreement" is? Still have to pay for joining fee?

For those that have the $10/mo plan, what is the actual cost you end up paying for the year? It says $10/mo, startup fee $39, and then in the small print $29 billed after June 1st. So is the first year $188 +tax and any year after is $149 + tax?

What if you drop your membership before June? Do they still charge you the $29 for the Rate Guarantee Fee/Annual Membership?

Not sure what the heck you people are talking about. My PF has free weights. And no one is paying attention to YOU, just work out and stop being paranoid.

Bought this item today at my Sam's and it was $4.90!! Bought one at the start of the summer for full price and my daughter had no problem redeeming it. These are not displayed with the gift cards, you have to ask about them at the register. Then the clerk will not know about it and will call over a manager who will get it for you.
