Checked my email and found this offer from proflowers for two dozen red roses and a square glass vase for 29.99. If you use the code DEAL25 at checkout it should take 25% off making it 22.49, which is the best deal I've seen for red roses. Shipping and handling ends up being pricey cost me about $18? Valentines day is $5 more. My total was $40 and it seems like a great deal for 2 dozen roses and a vase. I know people have had issues with them in the past, but my experiences with them have generally been positive. You can also go through shopdiscover for 25% cashback making the roses potentially cheaper, however this is YMMV, but worth a shot. Good luck!

I ended up paying about $32 for 2 dozen roses + vase + shipping and handling. great valentines day deal!

Last year I sent roses to my mother thru proflowers and she ended up with carnations. I called and complained and they said they ran out of roses and if I read my agreement before I clicked the send button, it said they were allowed to substitute in the even they did run out of roses. Said they had plenty until noon and later delivery on Valentines. Just saying. That and they come in a box and delivered like mail, not cool for me. I'd rather use a local florist and have some guy drive up in a car and deliver roses to my mom in the vase.

Went to living social, bought coupon and found out at the last billing page that Proflowers treats LS certificate as a coupon code and won't allow any other codes to be used.
Wish I had just used the DEAL25 and saved the $15 I gave to living social.
All in all and okay deal, just not as good as touted.

Agreed, pricey. SD headline makes it look better than it is.

Proflowers is extremely low quality garbage, and the price is far more than advertised.

Ever heard the $19.99 dozen roses commercial they air every Valentine's Day and Mother's Day? There is no way to get that order from their website for less than $45. The "$19.99" is the start, and then they charge separately for the vase, "handling," delivery, etc and get you up to $45 or more.

What they send you is crap. They contract with local florists and pay them a tiny amount to do the work for them, so most florists reserve their garbage for Proflowers orders.

If you order from them, the person receiving the flowers is going to be embarrassed.

SKIP PRO FLOWERS. You've been warned.

They abuse the "carnation" option frequently. Have a look at the photos in the Proflowers reviews on Yelp. They seem to substitute carnations for almost any flower you can name more than half the time.

I think the trick is to have the flowers delivered on the 13th n not the 14th. Been doing this for years with them. Been working so far. Also use KISS25 for 25% off discount. Other deal from living social doesn't allow u to stack

^ This. You are more likely to get better quality flowers if you have them delivered before vday. Never gotten a substitution myself, either.
