User Comment on Product: Always been happy with my proflowers orders. My wife had an issue once with flowers that she sent, but customer service was great and sent a replacement out immediately. - SquirtTortuga

Checked my email and found this offer from proflowers for two dozen red roses and a square glass vase for 29.99. If you use the code DEAL25 at checkout it should take 25% off making it 22.49, which is the best deal I've seen for red roses. Shipping and handling ends up being pricey cost me about $18? Valentines day is $5 more. My total was $40 and it seems like a great deal for 2 dozen roses and a vase. I know people have had issues with them in the past, but my experiences with them have generally been positive. You can also go through shopdiscover for 25% cashback making the roses potentially cheaper, however this is YMMV, but worth a shot. Good luck!

Here's the link.

Updated (thanks melehundele and HokieCPA)

Purchase livingsocial deal for proflowers $30 for $15 ($13.50 with USA10 code)
https://www.livingsocial.com/deal...ts?index=1

Go to link above for flowers and input your livingsocial voucher in special offers. Flowers + vase will cost 29.99 instead of 22.49 since you can't combine special offers/discounts.

I ended up paying about $32 for 2 dozen roses + vase + shipping and handling. great valentines day deal!

Just to clarify for those who can't read
You CAN'T COMBINE promo codes with the livingsocial code

why would you pay $40 or more for flowers? complete waste of money

buy a nice bouquet from trader joe's or whole foods or costco for $10-$20. with the money you save you can buy a nice sixer or bottle of wine, some good cheese and dark chocolate

proflowers is horrible....better flowers at your local grocery store
+1 on this. Their customer service is alright, but plan on getting horrible flowers and then having them replaced by somewhat less horrible flowers when you call to complain.

Your local Market Street/United/Kroger/Tom Thumb/Randalls has better flowers imo.

Which one of you "local grocer" guys is going to drive 20 hours to my mom's house to drop some flowers off for me?

FWIW, my wife will be getting local grocer flowers :-)

Living social deal was $13 for a $30 voucher when I went on, applied that to the 2 dozen with flexible delivery (Feb.13-14) delivered to my girl's workplace for $31.71. Not too bad compared to what I've paid previous years.

I've had nothing but good experiences with ProFlowers and my girlfriend loves to get flowers delivered to her work.

Thanks for the heads up OP and Hokie!

Cost me $47 with all of the vday handling and tax charges. But at least I'm done with it! Thumbs up - hopefully flowers are high quality...

Hey Shane, you enter it into the special codes, when you're at the last page before you complete your order make sure your voucher is there. It should show the voucher $30 and whatever credit card you use to pay the rest which is $18-20. The total of your order should be about $48-$50, but you ended up paying around $32-35 out of pocket cause you bought the voucher.

I found it's better to give the flowers to your wife/girlfriend a few days earlier and if you can take some time off to deliver them yourself even better.
Also, I agree about Pro Flowers being low quality, plus they deliver them in separate boxes for the receiver to put it all together, how romantic is that?

Thanks, i had a hard time getting my coupon to apply.

Then i noticed the 20.00 charge for delivery plus the handling charge.

Not gonna happen.

These companies source your local florist to do it on the "cheap" by underpaying them. Yes going to your local florist means higher prices but you will at least get quality flowers- most of them save the best for their customers and just do quick subpar work for the online resellers.
